Emulation is illegal

I just beat Xenoblade 2 on Ryujinx, it's a overrated game.

I own a Switch and this is great news.

PCSX2 1.6 yesterday and now this. Holy shit.

Based. I can't wait to pirate Pokemon SwSh and play on my PC. I'm still a PokeFag, but I've accepted that I can't support GameFreak financially until they get their shit together.

This is revenge for that Nintendo did to the Mario 64 PC port

How does it work, performance wise is it good enough?
Do I need key bullshit etc, like with yuzu.
I only tried yuzu up until now.

Just get a laptop bro.

Based

I play games because I enjoy them, not because I get bored when taking a shit. If a good title has come out and it's concealed in a system I don't own, emulation gives me access to it.
Seriously, why is this so hard for you to understand?

Can someone here upload some Yuzu gameplay? i don't trust this britbong fuck at all. He cherrypicks the few sections a game doesn't shit the bed and boasts about how great the game plays now.

>Zig Forums constantly shits on Switch games saying their shit etc
>Second they become availible on "emulators"
>OMG YES I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THESE GAMES

and what kind of rig do you need for 30fps?

I don't think many people will claim it's perfect. I really loved it, but it's got plenty of flaws. They needed more time, but Nintendo wanted an exclusive out right then. At least it got a good amount of post-launch support.

bsod has been a reliable source of info all these years, though.

I don't hate the games. I hate the hardware it's on. I'm not interested in handheld. And I'm not going to play 720p games on my TV in 2020. That Luigi Mansion game looks fun as fuck. Also had a blast emulating Cap Toad on Cemu. That one is an underrated gem.

I'm hoping that by the time it's ready to play on PC, someone has made a difficulty increase romhack. The could potentially be one of the best Pokemon experiences I've had in awhile if someone can mod it to make it actually challenging.

>In Greek mythology, Prometheus is a Titan that aided humanity by teaching how to make fire.
>In modern society, it symbolizes the strive for scientific knowledge.
>The Prometheus Project is about that - the journey to new emulation techniques.
Emulators are art now.

Yeah man

>And I'm not going to play 720p games on my TV in 2020.
Luigis Mansion 3 runs 1080p docked :^) But you wouldnt know that shitposter.

>Update releases
>MASSIVE UPGRADES

Cringe af

>GAME RUNS PERFECTLY
>seconds later background BotW gameplay starts stalling
lol no

Why does the guy speak like that?

This alone is more expensive than a Switch. And the Switch is hackable.

I am supporting the developers - of Yuzu! I'm more than happy to give to a patreon for them to keep developing this OPEN SOURCE emulator that can play current games.

I don't hate the Switch in and of itself, but Nintendo fucked up bigtime. They COULD have made the Switch a Nintendo skinned, Android powered tablet- its literal SoC and hardware is made for that - that would allow players to play both Nintendo games and do Android tablet stuff on it. But no, they stuck to their proprietary OS, attempted to console ban modders / CFW if they were found out etc.. so fuck it.

I object to game exclusivity - even first party, though i ts not as bad as 3rd party by contract - so fuck the whole thing keeping it to a shitty proprietary hardware platform. If Nintendo release Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Smash, Astral Chain and all the rest on PC, I'd likely buy to support it. But no, they won't do that, so fuck em .

Yuzu (along with emu in general, including Cemu and RPCS3 etc) prove that you can have a better experience playing the game on PC, than on these shitty proprietary middleman fellating consoles. It shouldn't take having to emulate the whole thing for this to work - the very idea of a console platform is outdated! They all use off the shelf hardware anyway! No more of this bullshit corporate fuckery and I'll continue to support emulation projects like this and play these games better than natively, until the devs wise up and bring the games to PC properly as they should.

Seriously, how the fuck did Nintendo achieve those visuals? It's a small tablet, fucking wizards.

I know it's a hassle, but if you've got any examples, could you post a video and point it out? Can't remember any moment like this.

Its what happens when devs optimise games.

It always was coombait.

zoomers making theads now since they found out people are blocking their shitty minecraft banners are they?

afaik there's only one and the nigger is waiting for the dlc to release to finish it. I'm playing drayano's sacred gold, w2 and was craving a difficulty hack for swsh

What will we do Nintenbros? They can't keep getting away with this!

It's not so much optimizing as it is designing literally every part of the game with Switch's limitations in mind. It's like saying Uncharted 2 is optimized when in truth the performance is 99% due to how the game is designed to bypass RAM bottleneck with obligatory walking/climbing segments as textures are loaded from and to the RAM.

oh shit does this mean i can finally play smashbros on PC

does it even have controller support

>If Nintendo release Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Smash, Astral Chain and all the rest on PC, I'd likely buy to support it
nah you would just pirate it. Just admit you want the games for free and drop the platitudes

before I bother trying this shit, tell me if my PC can handle it.
>3700x
>2060
>16gb 3600

I remember reading that the ps3 emulator needed at least an i7 w/ 1080 ti, so I don't know what's real.

1 minute mark

just try it

What a dumb fanboy you are. It's been proven countless times that PC ports are highly profitable to devs and sell great.

Sensible, honestly. What I hope is that it's hard without relying too much on stall. SacredGold/StormSilver did this, and while it isn't hard to beat, it becomes annoying because every two or three fights
>Toxic
>Protect
>other move
>protect

Run it

did you miss the part how its not actually at full speed though

post yfw BotW2 will be playable on PC day 1 and nintenbros will seethe

user, don't be a bitch. If someone pirates a game they weren't going to buy it in the first place. And if they happen to like it, they might buy it in the future

Reported to the Nintendo police, enjoy your jail time, faggot!

Nah. I'd happily buy some - not all, but some - of them. I wouldn't buy all of them on Switch either of course, and its no harder to pirate there but unlike PC pirating on Switch, if not done perfectly , will get you banned and then you have no incentive to EVER buy again, only pirate everything.

There's no reason that Nintendo games wouldn't sell on PC, via Steam, like many other games. Similar games on PC sell very well so there's no reason to think they'd all be pirated all the time. Regardless, a pirated item is not a lost sale and with the way PC gaming works, there's a very good chance that someone would pick up a title later on officially when its on sale to a level they can afford/wish, even if they pirated it previously. Unlike consoles, PC sales (via Steam and others) have a very long sale time arc and most importantly have lower costs of development/publishing - there's no 3rd party asshole telling you it costs extra to verify your patch and push the update etc.
