This has to be the most trashiest series of Japanese games I've ever played. Even Final Fantasy isn't this fucking trashy and edgy.
>dude moral philosophy on the level of a 5th grader lmao >We are edgy yet also make the most weeb trashyest of shit ever >one game is so edgy it has the protagost shooting themselves in the head to attack >lol we fight God and Jesus and shit and make them assholes >*Goes on a long philosophical diatribe out of nowhere* >Let's sexualize these teenagers xD >Soulles gacha
The trailer looked so good, I need more now. It’s fucking killing me. I started with Strange Journey back when it first came out. 3, SJ, and 4 are a lot of people’s favorites. Don’t play the 4 sequel unless you have already played 4. 1 and 2 are great games as well if you’re in the mood for some super famicom.

>Let's sexualize these teenagers xD lol faggot

I only got to play Imagine recently on ReImagine, did you play it back when it was still up?
People will take this to be shitposting, but I'm actually looking forward to spinoffs of P5 more, surprisingly, but that's largely just because I just finished P5R and because I can actually count on spinoffs of P5 coming out in a reasonable timeframe when I don't have a clue when SMTV's coming. I trust it will come though, it's just hard to look forward to it when it feels so far off, if not for that I would probably be looking forward to it more than P5 spinoffs though. Whenever it does come out though, I do hope it has a distinct identity, I worry a bit it might feel like a Nocturne retread, but then again, we know so little of it that I probably shouldn't be jumping to conclusions like that.

Nah, I enjoyed it a lot more than Record Keeper and the 2 gachas before that, and it has the same megaten combat and demon conversations unlike the shit that is FF Exvius. FF War of the Lions is alright but still nothing to write home about. You’re just upset about a video game series.
Blake Morris
I'm not interested in shit like the dancing games but Persona 5 Scramble honestly has me interested. Its the only Mousou game that looks like it belongs to the series it's representing.
Gabriel Johnson
Yeah, I don't play the dancing games either, but I'll play Scramble and I'm looking forward to P5 Arena. Anything passed that I don't know about, but I suppose I'll see at they come.
Connor Mitchell
I'm not sure what most of this means. I'm guessing 4 has a proper sequel while the rest of the games are standalones within the same universe?
Played it during the aeria days
Ayden Peterson
>I've ever played im ply ing
Jaxson Nguyen
Small nitpick, but I'm sure you meant War of the Visions since you were talking about gatcha shit. War of the Lions is the actual game.
Eli Baker
SMT 1 and 2 are in the same universe and so are IV and IV: Apocalypse. Nocturne, if... and Strange Journey are completely standalone. Some feature references to other ones, like if... mentions the SMT1 protagonist, but they're largely standalone, even SMT 1 and 2 are standalone despite taking place in the same universe, SMT1 just establishes the setting for SMT2, but the plots are largely distinct from one another. There's also some references between games if you get into spin-offs too, Raidou 1 makes reference to multiple SMT games, DDS1 and 2 make reference to Nocturne and so on. In general you don't need to worry about these things though and they tend to just amount to references while the games themselves stand fine on their own two feet.

>all those comfy nights of playing P4G curled up in bed while it was raining outside
>shitting on Persona and mainline at the same time You know before today, I didn't realize that there was a quicker method of getting yourself killed.
Jayden Bennett
>I'm guessing 4 has a proper sequel while the rest of the games are standalones within the same universe? Mostly. 1 and 2 are direct sequels. 4 Final/Apocalypse is sort of a “What if” that takes place halfway through 4.
Hunter Cooper
You’re right. War of the Lions is a fucking good game.
David Powell
Imagine takes place between 1 and 2 but pretty sure it diverges into its own future.
Jordan Rodriguez
OP....I don't know how to tell you this but...the games ARE for children. They're literally made for teens. Persona is the Vidya equivalent of a shitty YA novel like Hunger Games or that dumbass movie about kids in a maze.
Chase Evans
Nobody plays a series if it made a bad impression with the first game
