I guess so. I wonder if Ralsei will come back. He seemed to exist inside of the world as his own thing. Not just imagined toys. So I have to wonder if he comes back to continue the same legend. Or perhaps he has a new legend.

Each chapter up to a point will be Kris + Ralsei + New Classmate
Then once the pieces are in place you'll be able to pick between the classmates and maybe Ralsei to form your party.

The battle theme is called rude buster, she also by far has the most face sprites, and in terms of Toby's sketches that he has shown, she has the most. I'm pretty sure she's going to be a party member. Also Jevil gives you a Susie only item if you defeat him by attacking, even though Toby likes subverting expectations, she seems like a pretty important main character based on a lot of things (she also was teased in the switch UT port I believe)

I could def see each chapter's Dark World segment having a new battle theme.

In terms of non-boss/unique battle themes, there's only the main one, core, and hard mode to my knowledge, all the other themes only are used for a few battles at most. I'm talking about the generic encounter theme.

Its the theory that we did all of her character development and that she's done with, so she will get replaced by Noelle/whatever classmate per chapter.

Noelle is being pushed as extremely prominent judging by what Toby has shown, Lancer and King seemed to parallel Susie a lot and since their arc is resolved it makes sense to infer that Susie's active chapter was resolved, thus Noelle comes in next with her own chapter, her own Dark World parallel, and all that implies.
But I think that's as far as it goes. I think Susie and Noelle will both be party members after that. Because the game only has the "someone very special" reaction when you use their names and not anyone else's.

That's dumb. Party members in rpgs don't get thrown away after character development.

Not sure if Ralsei will be a permanent party member though, seems like tying Pacify to another character hurts potential party formations. Kris will probably take over that role at some point.

I don't personally believe it, since there's so many things that can happen and we won't really know until it comes out anyways. There's tons of things that can happen though such as
