If you like the original Resident Evil games you'll probably like Fear Effect. Fixed cameras, tank controls, and more action. It also has actual puzzles and a lot of them. Story is interesting, the voice acting is actually good, and the characters are fun.

I wouldn't call it a horror game, just has supernatural elements that are part of the main story. Sex appeal is more of a side thing in the first game but they do ramp it up in the second game. Still, if that stuff wasn't present it'd still be a solid game. Unfortunately the sex appeal is all people really talk about.
