I personally like Post Scriptum more. I heard recently that the new mechanics with rallies and spawn rates turned the game into a meat grinder, but i havent been back to play it since helos

Yeah, it's one of the best games for TKs (especially yours and other squad leaders). Sometimes when rounds are boring I just hunt down my SL, switching squads to hide

Helicopters improved the game a lot imo, there's always pilots who want to fly logistics so you hardly need to run the trucks beyond the start of the game. The commander hardly changed anything, they basically get UAVs, an airstrike and artillery on really long cooldowns so you might see one of each in a game.

that was because of buddy rallys which basically let you spawn on ANY allied rallypoint, which made it impossible to stop the stream of enemies. It was a really shit idea but its gone now basically. Has been removed for every faction but insurgents.

Helis definitely speed up the game on larger maps, just make sure you have an SL actually talking to the pilots.

It's garbage and dead. Just a walking sim since the geniuses decided to make a Battlefield clone with bigger maps and one shot kills where you can't spawn on capture points.
