The Golden Sale was the time to get it if you were curious. But unfortunately, I would say it's the worst of the action games as it's tonally inconsistent as hell and fucks up the core gameplay despite some cool tertiary additions. At least the campaign is less unruly than Shinovi and it's a shade more challenging, but overall it gets more wrong than right. Still, if you've played all the other action games and still want more then it isn't so bad as to not scratch that itch in desperation, just know that it's slower and stiffer to control than all the others.

gameplay isn't as fluid as the other games in the series and the story does some cringe shit (crmson squad gets sidelined, the entire roster gets BTFO'd by jasmine except yumi who happens to fight her last), but it's a fun game if you like senran kagura
