I enjoyed PW4 way more than 3 despite the cut characters and arcs. The overall gameplay just felt a lot more smooth and the changes to the existing characters made even the older ones fun to play. That said, fuck KT for selling old characters as DLC.

Man I already stopped playing PW4. PW3 is one of like three games I got all achievements in, yet 4 couldn't hold my interest long enough to even finish adventure log, let alone max all the characters. It may have some improvements and a few fun characters, but overall it's just has so much less variety. Nearly every character in 3 had some unique style and mechanic, 4 homogenized the fuck out of its roster.

Why do they always go with filler OC endings, like a cancelled 90s anime adaptation? Why not just focus on existing arcs and end with the current one as a sequel hook? They're not even good at making up those endings, it's always the most generic shit of everyone going together and beating the big bad by attacking simultaneously. One Piece is the last story that can be given generic shonen cutoff.
