Cursed did constant debuffs and damage while being impossible to remove, blessed healed and someone could be removed easily.

Cursed stopped you from healing, bless was a limited resource to remove the cursed tag from pools of elements. But cursed was literally the blood of most enemies, so if you hit them they recurse the pool they where standing on. It was obnoxious.

That too, also the gear scaling was all over the place. Level 21 gear is atleast twice the strength of level 20 gear, so you are constantly buying new gear and holding onto uniques was pretty pointless.

Was very apprehensive at first, seeing as different company + turn based but I recently got and played the everliving fuck out of DOS2 so I’m pretty hype for BG3 now.
Only thing that’s a bit of a pity is with the low level cap we won’t see any of the ridiculous end game spells, and I’m curious to see how they’d be with turn based combat.

I regret that they didn't go for the Baldur's Gate 2 approach : your level doesn't impact the items you can use. Therefore, it might be worth it to try a very challenging fight early on in order to acquire some legendary item instead of receiving it at the end of the game when you won't be able to enjoy it for more than a few fights.
