I read in one thread that the file size is the same as digital since you install the disc basically. Is that true?

Yes, as with most games, the content on disc is matched against the final version, and whatever is on disc is just a consideration. The worst part is that many people were told they do not have enough filespace. No clue what Sega's getting at with this, but it's massive for only being a visual novel.

Man, the quality of VN choice aspect is really different in ST1. In nu-ST it's painfully obvious which choice is "good", "bad" or "joke", but in ST1, most of the choices are much more ambiguous and sometimes being "silent" is actually the better option.
