Denuvo is not the only deciding factor in whether a game gets cracked or not. Is the game any good? Why bother defeating another version of that anti-consumer bloat, just to be able to play a dogshit game for free?

With very few exceptions most of Denuvo-protected releases are creatively bankrupt Ubishit skinnerbox garbage with MTX added in too just to make sure the game was designed to be a boring chore.

The rest which my be good games that were afflicted by publisher cancer and had to ship with denuvo, do et cracks. Others, like DMC 5, remove the Denuvo after the game launch time window.

Not really, the issue is one of the cracked denuvo exe got leaked while completely unprotected a while back so all Denuvo had to do was look inside to find all the exploits used by hackers and correct them, making the new Denuvo extremely tough.
There currently exist no team able to crack the new Denuvo since they basically used their own skills to make it unckrable, sure someone will probably appear at some point, maybe a new scene but it might take a very long time.

likely the boomer businessmen incorporating it into their products don't give a fuck whether it's effective at increasing their sales. it's probably more about what feels good to them. if it comes down to someone pirating their game to play it or staying clear together it altogether, they'd rather pick the latter, because they hate the idea of someone getting something for free even if it isn't to their detriment. you can see that it's only really game companies run by clueless dumbasses that heavily utilize denuvo.

savvy publishers/devs generally don't give a fuck about stopping piracy because getting your game in the public knowledge is a cutthroat competition, and they'll take any help they can get with promoting their game. third worlders, poors and other habitual pirates are never going to buy your 60 dollar game on release, but they will talk about it online and do some of your marketing for you if you let them play your game anyway. public interest in a game always grows exponentially and virally, and losing a few sales to piracy is more than worth the eventual payoff you get later.
