Tim has always been Tim. No one should be surprised at his antics. He has a historical precedent. That's the nice thing about 90's devs, they stay the same. Chris Roberts will always be over-budget, never adhere to a schedule, and will always bloat his projects- he's a hack. He has talent, but his ego never learned to be more humble and take direction from above. Cliffy B is the same way. Romero still makes DOOM maps for fucks sake. Carmack still drives 1200HP Ferrari's and works with DARPA, shit he's always wanted to do.

product. In fact it was more like some shit someone would make with unity in a couple weeks. Very plain, not all that interactive in terms of environment, story is very predictable and boring, and it was a split release on top of that.
I don't really like any game schafer's ever had a big hand in. Going back, even day of the tentacle and full throttle aren't really as good as I remember. Just disappointing honestly.

The tutorial level is the only extensive look at a level we've had, so it still remains to be seen if the game will feature creative variety as great as the original. So it could still be underwhelming

That's definitely going to be the biggest hurdle. It might be that it ends up kinda bland compared to the first one

Why would I be mad at him? He made pretty good games, a few mediocre ones or whatever. I know GG holds a grudge against him because he didn't follow their cult but that doesn't fucking matter.
