Let's have a comfy Megaman thread, last one got autosaged for some reason.
Megaman thread
I finally beat MMZ4.
Did the previous games also have the boss rush on the same level with the final boss? This time it felt a fair bit harder.
I like the character designs (mostly Roll) but I hate the games
How were you supposed to know this item was required and how to reach it?
It was probably mentioned in the instruction manual.
That, and that it's clearly an object of interest and you see a clear obstacle, which you can return to when you find how to remove said obstacle.
>Copies sold overseas have codes that won't work unless you live in USA (and not a single part of the case says this).
>Some new copies have expired codes.
>Some copies don't have codes at all.
What went wrong?
Capcom's half-hearted physical releases internationally bug the shit out of me.
They don't give a shit about the European fanbase, we're stuck with digital only or importing.
A US Nintendo Switch account should be able to redeem that code at least, but that's not what people wanted.
To date, the only way to get a physical edition of Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is as part of the Rockman and Rockman X 5-in-1 Collector's Box. Every other title had a separate physical release in some form before.
Pretty sure it's also the only time Mega Man 9 and 10 have had any form of a physical release.
>Pretty sure it's also the only time Mega Man 9 and 10 have had any form of a physical release.
Yes it was, sadly.
X8 is fun
Does this have all the games inside or just like the Legacy and X collection you need to download half of them with codes that won't work or are not in the case at all?
this one actually has all the games
All are in, thank fuck.
Good, glad it didn't buy Legacy or X collection for the Switch then, I read nothing but bad things about those in sale sites.
only the part 1 are bad
>switch
Your fault.
>This thing is on switch and has 52 games inside.
>Capcom didn't bother to give Legacy colection 2 (AKA just 4 fucking games) a physical copy.
The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection has 13 games from Arcades, SNES and PSX., The Switch version even got a extra game...and they are all in the fucking cartridge, So I strugle to see the logic here.
Capcom obviously resents Mega Man. It will never be a huge money maker like RE or SF.
Sega Genesis Classics is mostly just a bunch of ROMs and a cheaply made emulator with a menu that was designed for VR headsets.
The X Legacy collection titles have a wealth of additional material about the series, like merchandising, an OVA, soundtrack, a new mode which combines boss fights from previous games, etc.
Unfortunately, both titles mentioned suffer from really bad input delay that sours the whole experience.
X collection 2 has no lag
Why in the fuck would anyone play this when Anniversary Collection exists?
>This thing is on switch and has 52 games inside.
And it means jackshit since sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles aren't in it.
mm9 and mm10
also a lot of extra challenges with online leaderboards
>also a lot of extra challenges with online leaderboards
so the literal hell what?
Because the anniversary collection is shit compared to the legacy collection.
How so?
>playing MM3
>beat all the stages
>wow well done now play 4 of those stages again!
Are the next 3 games going to do this as well?
bruh just buy it on PS4
no
you get a second wily castle instead
except for 7 and 8 where you get an intro and mid stage
and 9 through 11 where you get nothing but the eight stages and ne wily castle
The emulation in the anniversary collection is shit for starters. And it has a myriad of other issues.
The only thing good about it is that it has the power battles and mega man & bass.
>last one got autosaged for some reason.
Huh. Wonder why that is.
Friendly invitation to /mmg/
but they are new stages they just use same assets
also no it never ever comes back, which is a shame
Anniversary collection is 480i only.
It doesn't have any version of Mega Man & Bass. Only the 2 arcade games.
