I dunno, but the left has the most soul.
left = soul
middle, right = extremely soulless
Night and industries.
Pirate them you stupid faggot.
and it's a mess that will ruin your city eventually
pirate all
Just like real life, which also has soul.
ah yes the ameritard/europoor infrastructure mentality
The expansion DLCs are all pretty flawed. If you want to spend money on CS, get some of the building packs
Why is the round about bad?
Why are none of the lanes six lanes?
real life equivalents?
>Left
SOUL
>right
SOULESS
>middle
Good inbetween function and growth.
>ruin your city
It's literally impossible to lose in that game, and having red roads doesn't impact shit outside of achievements.
>only left has footpaths
>no bus stops
>middle/right are heartless, optimized square shit
>Content Creator Packs
these are just skins people made on the workshop and got added as official DLC. Dont waste money on these unless you really really want your city to look like Japan or Europe (though you can do this with free Workshop mods anyway)
>Radios
can listen to them all on Youtube for free anyway, ignore.
>Green Cities
shit
>Industries
good and adds a healthy amount of content, adds proper production lines and resources to your Industry rather than being yellow tiles that you set and forget.
>Mass Transit
meh
>Natural Disasters
adds an element of challenge having your city randomly catch fire, flood or tornado but not worth paying $18 for.
>Parklife
gets boring making custom parks after a while but they're fantastic money makers. Can do cheesy shit like charge your citizens $20 each way to walk to work.
>Campus
Meh its ok
>Snowfall
shit, dont waste your time unless you really really want to re-enact making a snowy mountain town, but even then you'll only do it once or twice and then stop because it's just a gimmick. there's no seasons so you have to manually turn snow on or off in the settings.
>After Dark
meh
>Concerts
wow $9 DLC so you can make one building occasionally draw tourists and make some money.
big fucking nothing.
more lanes =/= less traffic, my dude.
Just pirate all of the dlc
Fucking squares
This, unless you plan on using workshop content. Idk if there's a workaround for it.
it's not bad, it's the most efficient which is why the AI gets crowded
he "solved" the problem by forcing the traffic to separate and get lost in the industrial grid
natural disasters because sim city and after dark
snowfall if you want muh trams
mod piracy exists you know
Sure but I assume what makes the workshop good is that you can get whatever you want and not just whatever random cunt has decided to seed
>those ugly layouts
>not just excavating a city in the middle of the ocean and building commie blocks for as far as the eye can see
this scenario was fucking stupid
>not having a city race track
pleb
six lanes is 60 speed limit though? isn't it better if the traffic moves faster.
why do you say meh on mass transit? I love transit options, so I was thinking of getting that. Is it just lacking?
>going to /vg/
user, Don’t do that to yourself
Pretty sure 6 lanes are 80 limit. They're shit because the AI is retarded and doesn't optimally use lanes
The pic in the OP is just autism anyways. The only issue with that roundabout is that it will clog with traffic quite easily
Are you suppose to use lights in this? I feel like lights just slow everything down, and it's not like there's accidents.
Are you suppose to leave some roads that let people park on them? Like will there be a problem if all my roads have trees?
I have so many questions about this game. Also please don't get mad at my "redeet" spacing
I don't get why people enjoy City Builders in the first place so grain of salt, but what's the point if making a good city means making it look like unnatural garbage? If you just want to optimize throughput, why don't you play an engineering game instead?
It depends. I use lights until I get a lot of traffic, but really this game is all about autism-levels of planning. If I'm trying to cheese a scenario, I'll build my industry near highways/rail/seaways, then build commercial nearby, then residential/office
This way my traffic isn't so bad. I mean you can use roundabouts to mitigate bad traffic areas but proper planning is just as good. I don't have much issue with cities up to 300k cims so it works for me. Of course, proper transit helps (subways are great, but expensive tools to get people places)
>nascar
>"race" track
smods.ru
works for me
