I've played this game for 74 hours and I haven't even started the campaign or played a single game of multiplayer, I'm still trying to beat the tutorial. This is the most obscene intro to a game I've ever seen. Is the game itself also this difficult?

It's genuinely really difficult.
Do you work at IGN by any chance?
No? I'm not even that bad at games usually. I beat Doom Eternal including the hardest difficult where you lose your savefile if you die in like less than half the time I've spend in the fucking tutorial of this game. I'm genuinely scared of the actual game.
Are you retarded?
No? Explain me how to do it? I don't understand how to maintain the speed required to get the sub 30 or 32 or whatever it is.
Beat this game on the hardest difficulty it’s incredibly fun.
74 hours??
Doesn't seem like it for now, I hate how the character controls, feels like they strapped a fucking jetpack on a counterstrike character or something. I don't even get why I bought it because I normally hate hyper realistic games like this.
Grab the shotgun and pistol for the run and try to lob grenades at groups in the run like (i.e. the first 3 people).
WOW IM NOT BANNED ANYMORE
YESS
not gonna lie, the campaign was a blast to play on my new 144hz monitor. the level design is neat, especially the cause and effect level.
I'm stuck, I just keep repeatign the gauntlet over and over but my best time is 35 and I'm just not getting it. I don't get how to increase my speed.
That's what I'm doing, I nade the 2 groups of 3 and shoot the rest but I just can't get above 30 speed.
Trust me you’ll get it. Memory is key. If you’re playing on console it’s doable but hard.
I'm on PC.
Still can't believe that this game is Source Engine like Half Life 2
Even better. Good luck.
highly recommend playing this game with controller. i stubbornly got stuck in the same place as you and managed to get through once i swapped to controller.
>People always told me Viper is the hardest boss
>Play on master in my first run on PS4
>beat him on my second try only because I got crushed by one of the ship's brakes during the first one
Nah user. Keyboard and mouse is perfect for this game. Unless you are really skilled with a controller then ignore me.
i would have looked up a guide after 5 minutes
It's fucking Source Engine? No wonder I hate it and can't get through. I hate Source Engine games.
you just need to understand how the game's momentum works.
youtube.com
why the fuck are you hellbent on getting a high score on the gaunlet anyway?
Hi, Dean.
>Viper
Absolute kino.
I did. It's just pure, raw dexterity and you aren't allowed to make a single mistake.
There's an achievement, I have OCD.
It plays nothing like a source game
Autism and OCD most likely.
this is unironically why many devs don't put achievements like this in games anymore btw. i'm pretty sure sony even mandates you can't in their first party output.
kb+m is better, controller sensitivity isn't as high. plus it's easier to aim with a mouse with high fps, analog auto aim is janky.
ok
well, good luck with that. you'll eventually get it.
user achivements mean fuck all
>I have OCD.
just don't have ocd
>Titanfall 3 never ever because EA would rather swim in Battle Royale dollars
I just wish this game had more air control or an air dash like Doom. It feel so fucking slow.
here's the thing, unless you get enough experience playing the game and getting confortable you're never gonna get good enough to beat the gauntlet. so you need to pick multiplayer. maybe try the wave-based game modes to git gud at it.
and then you try the gauntlet again. you're trying to enter the fucking olympics and you can barely walk right. it's not gonna work.
If anything, Apex saved Respawn and the franchise from being annihilated
it's not that hard.
>not gonna lie, the campaign was a blast to play on my new 144hz monitor
THIS. This game was an absolute blast to play on higher refresh rate. Been sitting in my backlog for so long and I've been on a singleplayer FPS kick lately and am glad I played this game. Very fun campaign.
well yeah, not literally. but this man has played the gauntlet for 74 hours and is getting nowhere, this is clearly not working.
Well I give up, sucks I won't be able to play the campaign because it did look decently fun but I can't be bothered anymore. Really disappointed by this game overall.
Apex is pretty fun but I would love a TF3. I don't see why they can't make it since BRs don't seem to require a lot of upkeep.
>Last game bombed almost killed the company
Gee I wonder why
whats the best titan/gun
lol I've played this game for hundreds of hours and I don't think I could get that gauntlet achievement.
it sold 4 million but according to EA that's a flop
>beat your head against a wall for 74 hours
>wow my head hurts what a disappointment
You don't have OCD, you're just retarded.
Pathetic
i wonder why titanfall seems to not be able to become a hit, its a good game.
>Pathetic.png
Probably one of the best SP FPS campaigns in recent years.
>Straight crushing that stronk wimmen merc.
>That time travel level
>Trust me.
1st one was tied to a DOA console. Sold well enough.
TF2 was sent out to die by EA, releasing next to COD and BF. Plus the beta had a bad map that threw off fans of the original.
You need to actually play the campaign then come back to this if you've just come off like 50 hours of Doom Eternal. This game is much more grounded and much slower in general than Doom so it's going to feel incredibly clunky.
No one is willing to give any advice either, be it on youtube or wherever I ask so it's pointless. I'm not gonna have fun with it.
the first game had always online bullshit and no campaign
the second game released between 2 highly anticipated shooters
