It's too deep for you, traveller.
Never happening. It was just trying to catch the attention of Soulsfans that time anyway.
Sekiro dlc when
How would it have really looked like if it did come out all those years ago
I do not know. I found out about the game after it disappeared.
This makes me want to cry
It wasn't a big IP so capcum canned it like usual
the most "recent" stuff is still up on the cogmovie channel
youtube.com/watch?v=fnLSaW4y6qo&list=PLYHfJOVzksMhepdzVZphjVeZuV3ar_BwA
more than soulsfans it was dragons dogma fans
i remember it marketed itself as its spiritual successor
It's weird because this was suppose to be running on a new engine Capcom was going to replace MTF with, but nothing came of it and Capcom is still usng the MTF engine.
Wonder how much money they sunk into it, and how shit it must have been to abandon it.
I just read that a dev said it hasn't been canceled yet, so maybe we will get lucky.
I never understood why they do that though, generate hype and release trailers and then abandon said game. Microsoft did it with that stupid dragon game too.
Some people say platinum was fucking up but I find it doubtful, no other publisher has ever had problems with platinum.
Microsoft just didn't want to develop games for the xbone probably.
Platinum openly admitted that the issues with Scalebound's development fell on both the developer (Platinum) and the publisher (Microsoft) Microsoft also admitted to this.
I like to think that was a demo for a graphic motor
It was more resident evil and dragon's dogma than souls
Sounds like some sort of polite Japanese cultural thing they do so they don't look like bad people blaming someone else despite how much pressure or burden they might have been under.
Either way, it'll always be that weird DMC4 Nero Dragon game lots of people thought was stupid until Microsoft cancelled it and called them monsters for it. Though maybe that's because we'll never get to experience how bad it really was, or that it might have been a good like how giving Raiden his own spin-off sounds horrible but then we got MGR and it was beautiful.
>mfw PS5 launch title
>no no they didn't mean it they were just being polite!!!
Fucking hell you people are impossible. Scalebound looked like dogshit and ran like ass on the xbox and it was supposed to be released shortly after. Thinking that they had nothing to do with it being cancelled is pure fanboyism.
Looked like generic western style garbage anyway, never cared. The age of Capcom pretending to be American is over.
OOOOOOHHHH TECH DEMO
deep down in the bin
the combat looked fun and unique, I was really looking forward to it. people keep comparing it to souls but it's nothing like it if you actually watched the gameplay. it played like a third person shooter, except with melee weapons. basically like using the knife in RE2 and 3 remake. I really digged that precision-based gameplay. I just some form of this game releases eventually, even if they scrapped this version.
I would have gone to that one TGS with the playable demo
if only I knew
I want to engage in sexual relations with that flying reptile
Why must you open these old wounds once again, OP?
Same place where Versus XIII and Scalebound are.
Dead along with the game with the giant tiddies (Wild?) and the Ubisoft boat fighting game.
sounds like you're just a normalfag that looks at games at face value. show me a game that plays similarly, if you even watched the gameplay that is.
That does sound good. We will probably never get it or Capcom will turn it into a souls clone.
I'm sorry user
I get shit ass bored from dark souls and deep down looked like a game made for me. Loved the combat, the setting (the future shit not so though) and the realistic armor/weapons.
I wish I was born a knight myself desu
>killed one unique game to keep pushing out open world shits
Fucking God, Ubisoft
So in Kingdom Hearts 4?
>I just read that a dev said it hasn't been canceled yet,
where?
Also afaik the game was running on pc, not ps4
this was already cancelled the team is working on dragons dogma 2
it isn't fair
Unfortunately that'll be the closest we might ever get yeah
Too soon. It fucking hurts. I wanted this game so bad, it was literally one of the titles that pushed me towards getting a PS4. All the others came out but this one just evaporated.
It’s going to be re-revealed and it’s going to turn out to be completely different with a shitty aesthetic style, they are going to get rid of the historical armour influence and replace it with generic shit while normal fags while suck them off, screen-cap this
During an interview with Eurogamer in November 2019 (primarily focused on Street Fighter V), Ono responded to a mention of Deep Down, saying that despite its long absence, the game "[has] not been completely given up on"
wikipedia...
But V13 did happen. It was just retooled into 15.

Someone remember project offset before they partnered with intel and intel then cancelled it?
Any other cancelled special games?
This was years ago when I was still following it, but the word was that they had too much trouble structuring the game. They wanted the game to be a free to play title, and they wanted all the gear and loot to be purely obtainable in-game and microtransactions would just be decorations for the apartment and things like that but projections showed it wouldn't be enough to fund the continued development so higher ups wanted something akin to the fuel system from Ace Combat Infinity added to where you only had so many trips to the dungeon you could do any day, and they'd refill at a rate of one trip and hour and you could buy ticket for aditional trips but the game felt too grindy for that to feel even remotely fair and then capcom slowly started picking off devs to put them on other projects while this stalemate was going on and now it's a skeleton crew running in circles basically.
And when I say now I mean now six years ago.
Probably getting reworked into DD2
>V13 did happen
It objectively did not. It happened the same way RE4 happened in DMC1 or Haunting Grounds. Reusing character models or names doesn't make it the same game. Gameplay, plot and characters were all different.
>I wish I was born a knight myself desu
You'd have just died of dysentery in a ditch somewhere without a penny or a deed to your name.
It's vaporware, like Wild and Beyond Good and Evil 2.
Says the fucking peasant scrubbing my boots
>Beyond Good and Evil 2.
Take it back
You're not lancelot dude, personalities don't change, you'd still be worthless fucking shutin a thousand years ago or a thousand years in a future.
>personalities don't change
Good. I got the personality fit for a knight.
