The Last Story had great combat and likable characters. I wish it was followed up.

Fine, perhaps that's a bit unfair. It's definitely better than Luigi's Mansion 2, but still nowhere close to LM1. LM2 was a 6/10, LM3 is a 7/10, and LM1 is a 10/10, one of the top 5 Nintendo games of all time.

It's the equivalent of Tarantino films. It does its own unique things in each entry, with the creator indulging in his ever growing list of fetishes and influences each time. They're not without their flaws, but they're good shit.

I have a PS1 and a PS3 but other than that I've stuck to Nintendo stuff, I looked into the PS4/XBONE but they have like three exclusives and the rest is on PC so it'd be dumb to get either console.
