I just finished bloodborne for the first time, and Holy shit what a masterpiece.
I have no idea what i did, but i beat it. Can you explain what the hell is going on in this game? Why did gherman fight me, why did yharnam fall? What was the point of the vilebloods? What are the great ones motivations? Why are you in yharnam? What does a dream/nightmare mean'-is it an alternate reality? Was the doll an attempt to recreate maria? What were the experiments from the choir for? What's the difference between the choir and the healing church? Who was willem and why does he beckon to rom the vacuous?
What is the pale blood, and why do we seek it?
Bloodborne lore
Nobody cares about your shitty discount dark souls game
It's just dream you dingus. Just hit lovecraftian niggers and shut up.
And why is Ludwigs Holy blade so OP?
What's a good build/weapon for a second playthrough? I'm thinking the whip, but i heard it's shit. Maybe the scythe?
I care nigger
If you are actually interested in the story as a whole, search for "Paleblood Hunt-Finalized". It's a treat
The paleblood is just something like an artistic shorthand that Miyazaki created to confuse the player and motivate them to continue playing the game in order to solve the mystery. He's gone on record saying that it just represents the moon and by extension the rituals related to it.
This, it's a pretty comprehensive writeup of the lore (100+ page pdf). Glad you liked the game OP, it's a legitimate masterpiece and my favorite of all time.
This is great
What is the source on this? Is there any more art for bloodborne in this style?
Go whatever some weapons arent as good or as interesting as the others but they are all viable
What's your favorite? The beast cutter seems interesting
Saif because the transformation attacks are op and style on anything
Scythe because *scwhing*
differentfag here, got no source but I have some more art
Saif
Burial Blade
Kirkhammer
The only real "point" of the vilebloods was to show another distinct group that the church fucked over royally, just for going against their will. IIRC It's apparently believed that a scholar of mensis stole some kind of blood from the church for the Cainhurst nobles, but I interpret this vagueness as evidence of a cover up. So the church raised the executioners to put them down. They're just glorified thugs, imo.
WE RENJI NOW
I really like wielding the old hunter weapons and cosplaying as an old hunter. It's probably my favorite outfit.
The vilebloods didn't seem to have started any shit. They're almost the only faction who weren't trying to ascend or fuck the entire population--and they were basically massacred for no reason.
You're the best user

Yeah, it was pretty fucked. Even if you assume that it wasn't a bullshit cover-up of a powerplay, and that the nobles did in fact orchestrate the theft of blood from the church, they were probably just trying to hedge their bets against what is obviously a rising danger in close proximity, that is, the church.
They were starting shit by killing off hunters for their dregs and the reason you mentioned. If they kept it up and impeded in the hunters progress to silence newborns the moon presence would have stepped in and done something
i actually own this poster
