I'm replaying 3 right now. It's amazing how many of its edges that VC smoothes out. 3 Is a great game in its own right but the improvements to vehicle handling and damage/weapon balancing is night and day between 3 and VC. You can call it an expansion pack all you want but that makes it an expansion on an already great game and denying the improvements that VC brings is just being a retarded contrarian.

Vice City's map was far more colourful, distinctive and pleasing to look at than the bland and grey New York clone from GTA III.

But they aren't in the release of 3 and if you have to mod in the good features of VC I think you are kind of arguing my point. I'm trying to fly the Dodo right now, there are no tops to most of the buildings. If you want to talk rushed look at how much shit was cut from GTA 3. If you want to talk unused map space most of the third island is a useless airport that shows up in one mission.

V is the best one, it the most fun to play and has decent but underrated plot. The multiplayer is great provided you have friends to play with.
IV is overrated as fuck, the story is nice but it's pretty boring overall. Still a good game though.
San Andreas is God Tier just like V. Everything about the game is just right.
III is shit and aged terribly.
VC is ok.

3 had a cool grounded early 2000s aesthetic that has never been replicated elsewhere in the series. VC is the Houser brothers nostalgia trip on 80s movies and pop culture, shit was a downgrade to what was already done before.

I recently started playing through all GTA games from 3, VC, SA , IV and currently on IV expansions. They fucked the radios recently. Looking forward to V next How do you play VCS or LCS? Is it for PC? I was only able to find it for PS2 and PSP, is it worth emulating?
