Soon I'll come around
Lost and never found
Waiting for my words
Seen but never heard
Buried underground
But I'll keep coming
Soon I'll come around

best dad
I'd admit that ending made me teary-eyed
besides death stranding, what are some other essential midwit-core games
Mads' segments were pure kino but the Bridget shit was just typical Kojima and almost killed the game for me
No shame in that, im a grown ass man and shed a tear too
If the baby was supposed to be Sam how can they exist at the same time? Did I miss something?
Lou is not Sam, its a separate person. Random BB that comes along, the memories you see are yours. Also its a girl.
If there's some that Kojima is really good at, it's making amazing trailers.
Oh shit that totally flew past me. Probably shouldn't play games while sleep deprived anymore I was convinced Lou was Sam
They spend the entire game misleading you into thinking that BB is Cliff's, and then believing it's Sam when Cliff reveals Sam is his son
It's only at the ass-end that it becomes clear Lou isn't related to Sam or Cliff at all, so if you were fading when that happened I don't blame you for missing it
Alot of people make that mistake actually. I think the ludens astronaut figure on the pod propably confuses them even though its a coincidence. It isnt important who Lou is but the bond she shares with Sam.
Just like Star Wars "I am your father" bs
>fucking Bridget basically mindraped Sam's wife to force her commit seppuku while fucking pregnant
50 bucks Lou is actually Sam's daughter and gets revealed in a DLC/Sequel
>implying there will ever be DLC or a sequel
Oto no naka de kimi wo sagashiteru~
Kiri no naka de kuchihatetemo samayou~
Yami no naka dekimiwo aishiteru~
Kizamu ippakuno eien wo~
That really removes from Sam and Lou's relationship.
Kojima's whole "strand" thing is about the connections forged between people who are not connected, and Sam caring for Lou as if she were his own child is a big part of that theme.
Having an epic plot twist where Lou was actually his biological daughter all along would completely undercut that part of the narrative
absolutely based Pop Virus poster
>>fucking Bridget basically mindraped Sam's wife to force her commit seppuku while fucking pregnant
Wait, what? I missed this bit. I assumed it was just a regular enough death that Sam kept secret.
>Sam caring for Lou as if she were his own child is a big part of that theme.
The idea came from Silent Hill
Wife secretly went boom somewhere in the city with all of the people in it including baby. And Lou still has her stillmother somewhere.
Also Bridget wouldn't give Sam's daughter to some random crematorium crew member that can die on any of his missions.
DLC would be based, could still be something nice done. Everything is tied up but I just want more. I would honestly take anything. Prequel about Sam, Higgs on the beach, playing as another porter after the events of DS and rebuilding the world. Could be a customizable porter, something like that.
Lots of lore is in the interviews, some of them are even in the post-game and in memory chips
It's not exactly a new idea, user
It's been around for as long as adoption has existed
Also the baby warning about monster replaces the radio static from SH
I absolutely fucking hated that character and Mama. Fragile was just annoying quote wise but Mama was so sudden and then dead (sorta) I could give a fuck less about its spirit baby tumor. Die Hardman had the best resolve and shouldn't have been shit on throughout the whole game for following the president (and his loves) order. Even at the end they still hate his ass and really shouldn't.
Hideo is cool and all, but defending the fact that his games are deep is just dumb. Most people don't care to understand the story because they're too busy being distracted by the visuals and usually weeb shit on screen.
I'm talking about ideas used in games
