I love having to use a mouse and keyboard to switch a game on my tv instead of just switching from the menu, especially when games on the current Xbox one x like doom already look as good as the high end pic version.

This. I don't give a shit about mods or piracy so I have no reason to build a gaming PC. The divide between PC and console graphics is also nowhere near what they used to be. I'll definitely be getting a Series X as my main console next gen.

Even though all Xbox Game Studios games will be cross-buy with PC, console users will probably still get preferential treatment. I'm predicting that the primary community for Halo Infinite is going to be on Xbox over PC. It always is.

Really only a handful of Nintendo games are the exclusive ones worth buying. Fuck buying shitty sea of thieves or the latest 20 FPS “cinematic” Sony exclusive.

That said I want the best hardware to play third party games and I like BC so I’m getting a series x the second I can.

IMO PC gaming is generally better for single player but worse for multiplayer outside of the most popular online games. It seems like console multiplayer communities often stick around longer.
