For all computers it’s being developed on to spontaneously combust, killing every dev working on them and burning down Bethesda’s HQ. The IP then gets handed to some small team of very passionate individuals who make the game with very deep role playing and the aesthetic of that gif that has like a classic Fallout game in first person perspective.

And no. The theme of Fallout 4 is not Synths, It's noir. It's literally all about detective shit, the prominent character is a detective, you're a guy from the 50s who can dress as the silver shroud, you have your "femme fatale" Piper, it's all about investigating and searching the commonwealth for your son and no matter the ending you try to pick it's always bad and nobody wins.

there's a small amount of noir themed content in the inconsistent jumbled hellscape that is fallout 4.

Fallout 4 is noir. It's all about searching for your missing son, it has ALL the characteristics a noir movie has, the most prominent characters are Valentine, a detective, an Piper, a femme fatale reporter.

Alcohol, drugs, smoking is a huge prevalent theme in the game, so is cynicism and how the world has gone to shit.

And F3 is the greaser one, Butch, the only iconic character of the game, is a greaser, the songs are all about the 50 and your character is literally named Lone Wanderer like that song with the biker guy. I think the only iconic thing is the Tunnel snake, which are a biker/greaser gang.

Native Americans are for F2, your character is literally a tribal and the whole main quest starts becaue you have to save your tribe and how you, a tribal, interacts with all the society and how the Enclave wants you savages dead.

on a bigger scale it feels more about ideologies that fall apart upon further scrutiny like how the railroad doesn't care about non-synth AI's, or how the minutemen have no actual long-term plans and can barely function without the MC, or everything about the institute if you take even a second thought about it
that seems too big of a grand ideal for bethesda though and they probably wrote it all in earnest with a nice little noir wrapper because they're fucking stupid

F3 Greaser/Biker with a mix from 50/60/70s is the most prevalent theme in F3, that's not biblical or militar (every game has a military theme since NCR or Brotherhood exists in all of them). The only iconic thing that comes out of F3 is the Tunnel Snakes and my boyfriend Butch.
