when Zig Forums flipped the fuck out at there being DAYTIME in 2077. like yeah, the rainy neon light city is peak cyberpunk and very comfy, but it's going to get old if that's all you see for 80 hours, a little variety will help the neon night city shit feel even better

I know you guys like to pretend just having sun and daytime is why people think 2077 looks really boring, but it's more than that.

Things like GITS and BladeRunner(2049) has plenty of daytime scenes yet people love them and they have 100X the atmosphere and art-direction 2077 will ever have.

This. The Sun is just a focal point for criticism, because 2077 really, does not do the cyberpunk style justice. Or the attitude, for that matter, but considering it's a AAA video game, being critical of corporations and totalitarianism is off the menu, because (((you know who))) is bankrolling it.

When will we get a Cyber Punk game that's has environments as grand and sprawling and vertical as that? Cyberpunk 2077's world is such a barren, lifeless, pitiful, dinky desert in comparison.
