Morrowind first playthrough

Got this sucker up and running on my phone. Need advice for creating my first character. I have tried to play in the past but never get very far.
I'm normally a fan of sneaking and ranged combat since that is my play style in TES4/5 and FO4/5/NV but I've played tanks, too

I wonder how many years off we are before something like this is possible with Oblivion or Fallout. I'd play with all the settings on low just to have those games on my phone.

I give it 5-10 years, one dude is already making the assets work in openmw

Damn, wasn't aware anyone had even started on that, but not surprising. Having anything remotely workable at this point though is pretty surprising to me. 5 years ago I wouldn't have even expected Morrowind to run on Android. Suppose it'll only get easier as smart phones bridge the gap between PCs.

How is controller support? Playable with a PS4 controller?

open mw is native support for controller

Any sort of mage build is easy mode in an easy game. Be sure you are ok not facing any sort of challenge after 30 min.
The first 30 min are brutal no matter what you pick.
Other than that the only real decision is do you fire up Oblivion or Skyrim after uninstalling this turd.

Have fun user.

Mage x 100000
This game isn't balanced. It's gonna break no matter what you do, so break it in the most fun way and play a mage. Start floating over the continent, Jump miles at once, throw fireballs while flying above enemies, use spell crafting to create nukes, etc.

pick bosmer or dunmer
pick a range skill, a melee skill, and an armor skill and make those major skills fill out the rest of your utility skills in major and minor like stealth and security
pick lady birthsign
pick stealth specialization
pick endurance and agility as your favored skill

sneak and archery are a little harder to make work in morrowind. they are less OP than in other bethesda games. The nice thing about morrowind is you can use your sneak to get a lot of gold then spend it all on training when you start needing to kill things for quests.

>This game isn't balanced.
no elder scrolls games are "balanced"

One big complaint is that you move very slowly at the start. If you want a bit more speed, you can pick the Steed star sign which gives you I think 50 speed, or Agility or whatever it was. Haven't played in years

How do you move? How do you look around? How do you sprint, attack, cast magic and jump?

more wind cos this games sheeeiit haha

You must have had a PS2 and no PC

nigga i wasn't even born when this game came out

Yet you have an opinion on something you clearly have zero experience with? Fucking zoomers, think your bullshit is gold thanks to growing up with likes and upvotes.

calm down boomie, i'm just joking. idgaf about your game or this gay ass thread

>I'd play with all the settings on low just to have those games on my phone.
wtf for, wish for good games to come out already gos

OP provide download link or go hang yourself

kys

actually just hang yourself

The gameplay of Skyrim is so simple and dumbed down it would translate well to playing it on a telephone

my head explodes when i see this sorta stuff

guess im a big time boomer

An actual interaction on nu-Zig Forums, everyone

Yeah, I didn't think it was possible but there's already dudes working on getting oblivion assets to run in openMW.

>Oblivion or Fallout
>Comments on Skyrim?
There's probably a reason Skyrim is ported to everything while oblivion and Fallout don't even get a remaster.

i don't know who's baiting who

You're the one baiting now.

Nor do they need to be.

This. Real-life isn't balanced, either.
