>Game killed because of bad balance decisions
At least the single player was decent. Am glad to have my exposition to this series limited to doujins again.

Was the balance really that bad? I feel like they could've done a little more with the last patch, but its not terrible. Theres obvious disparity between top and bottom tier that can be addressed but most of the cast is in a good spot.

The game is pretty balanced though

>Sit down in lobby with a C rank 0 wins player
>He leaves without a word after 1 match
>Then sit next to an E rank
>They're better but still need to learn
>Know I have to push his shit in or he won't get better

I HATE THE FEELING OF DESTROYING NEW PLAYERS. I know I HAVE to do it, its how you learn when you're new, but god damn I feel like I'm draining them of all motivation. Like if I beat them too harshly they just won't want to play the game anymore.

I hate playing defense and hate the short offense

Why is Bubs so under utilized, he is fun

No it's just the complaints from the usual casual B-Rankers. Game's pretty balanced outside of a few lightly overtuned aspects.

its not balanced enough where I have to sit through people with faster normals also being able to throw/overhead me cuz I have no DP

Its not bad, several characters got pretty got pretty good buffs, but Djeeta/Gran, Kat, Ferry, and Charlotta are still on top.

maybe you should get better at keeping your opponent out, meterafag

But Ladiva and Vas do loads of damage.

His SBA feels strangely week, I was fighting a Bubs and all I had to do was crouch block and it didn't even go off. Like it just... stops.

>Play one set vs a C rank
>He insta-leaves after
Don't fret over it user. It's tough love.

Vas got nerfed though, it probably hurt him more than Kat's nerfs

Is jumping during pressure okay, cuz I've been having more success with it than delayed strings.

Jumping is fine as long as you aren't predictable with it. It's the same with any kind of decision you make.

Vas getting hit out of his UOH from a low is terrible design. If something is universal, it should work for every character (all tekken down jabs crush highs)

I never learn anything when I get bodied because it happens too quickly for me to understand anything. When I play against someone equal or shittier than me, I figure stuff out because the pace is a bit slower.

that's just an excuse people use to shit on worse players desu. no one learns anything when they get crushed, the skill difference is too high. when you play newbies, you need to slowdown and beat them without crushing them if you want them to learn anything

i dont get vas design as a whole. slow, big body, no dp, which is supposed to be balanced with ok neutral and damage and pressure. His gameplan revolves on either people blocking so he can unblockable/command grab or CH on his stuff but his pressure isnt that scary

watch fame96 or mike ross gameplay

but they get washed too

I will take this into consideration next time! I want to try and teach them stuff, so long as new people don't instantly leave the lobby afterwards we can at least chat a little and point out what things they were doing wrong. But man that C rank who left immediately after losing 1 set, I hope hes okay. We were both playing the same character too.

>killed on pc and Zig Forums
fify

I feel like I can't learn shit.

Who are you playing as? Have you done your character's combo missions and tutorial?

>Someone ask me how to deal with my corner pressure
>tell them to either dodge forward or jump if they think I'm going to use fC to punish my recovery
>Now knowing that they know how to deal with my fC I punish them for attempting to punish me

The way to make someone learn is, figure out something they don't know how to handle and then do that over and over until they stop getting fucked by it

Zeta. I've done everything (tutorial, combos). It's just comes to watch how my opponnents behaves or finding "gaps", knowing when it's my turn.

yes, as long as you don't just spam it and give them time to recollect themselves/understand you're doing the same thing over and over. if you just rush them down doing the same thing, it's not that different from crushing them with fancier combos. it depends on the players skill

Just like this. Yea he's a stoner but sometimes he's alright.

i don't think mike's streaming since his dad passed away

as a zetafag, learning how how to properly pressure with her blockstrings and figuring out all her different safejump setups really helped me a ton

this is an extremely good primer on what she can do and you can mix and match a lot of the stuff her into your gameplan
