Arknights has unironically fun gameplay if you like tower defense games and it is really low maintenance

I actually did, and it's pretty decent for a gacha. But it also helped me realize what I don't like about them.
Basically, it's hard to know whether a mission is "difficult" because of the challenge, or difficult because my randomly selected team is shit. And that sense of ambiguity just translates into a feeling of unfairness.

Having a more diverse roster is always going to give you more options and make your life easier but the game still has plenty of challenging maps even if you have them.

I found Honkai Impact 3rd to actually be a pretty fun action rpg, haven't really taken the time to dig into yet though. Granblue I play off and on and also pretty fun from a gameplay perspective.
