So we know Bigger Luigi filled in for Original Luigi in Super Mario Bros 2...

So we know Bigger Luigi filled in for Original Luigi in Super Mario Bros 2, but why did Original Luigi only make three other appearances (Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, and Mario is Missing) before being quietly replaced by Bigger Luigi? Was there a reason Bigger Luigi took the spotlight on covers instead of Original Luigi? And is this tied into Luigi not being in Super Mario 64? And why did Original Luigi look like this (gold skin, green hair) in 1985? Was he doing the fake tan and dying his hairs a lot?

Resource limitations couldn't portray Bigger Luigi (aka the real Luigi) in his true superiority.

luigi is actually an identical twin but was tired of living in his shadow and being confused for him to the point he got shady back-alley plastic surgery to reconstruct his entire facial shape
unfortunately he's too fucking stupid to think to wear a different outfit so he still gets called 'green mario'. oh well

>attempts at mario lore

But he was big in Super Mario Bros 2, but shrunk in Super Mario Bros 3 or Super Mario World! You can't tell me that he magically erased his plastic surgery for that! They're two separate people!

that was during an attempted rehab program by his concerned family who had his silicone injections broken down and disintegrated, but he soon relapsed and traveled all the way to diamond city for crygor's experimental botox
he was never the same again and crygor is currently wanted in every corner of the mushroom kingdom for a gross breach of medical decency

Who would win in a fight, original luigi or bigger luigi

Original Luigi: Jerome "Curly" Luigi Mario
Bigger Luigi: Samuel "Shemp" Luigi Mario

Eario's fault

What fucking Luigi is this and how many Luigi's are there actually?

It's from 1986 and the guy looks like Mario, so it's Original Luigi.

Luigi's actor wasn't hired on full time until later, the twin of the actor who plays Mario was filling in for him

I heard the real reason why luigi’s original actor aka the twin of Mario’s actor never appeared again was because he died of a drug overdose.

It's current Luigi but before he lost weight.

It's Original Luigi in Ice Flower clothes.

Was he taking growth pills or something, did he have an allergic reaction to the mushrooms?

What happened to blue bowser, is he dry bowser?

Luigi is the same height as Mario and in general looks closer to him in the old games because he is the younger brother and hit a growth spurt at some point as the series progressed.

No joke, that's his brother.

I know that, I remember they once said that dry bowser was a family relative, so what if they’re the same person

Who the fuck are these people?

Then who was King Koopa?

Which Luigi is this one?

user stop it you're scaring me

Super Mario Bros 2 was a dream though. He was just dreaming about his dream shape, but didn't have the coins at the time.

Original Luigi, it's from a 1985 game and he still looks like Mario.

So he had surgery to make the new look permanent after Mario is Missing and that's why he wasn't in Super Mario 64?

bigger luigi is too floaty, at the first jump a skilled mario could crush him every time

Bigger Luigi was brought in to act as the Luigi character going forward. This was to free up Luigi Prime. Nintendo noticed that Mario was a far more popular character than Luigi, but also knew that Mario Prime would be burned out if they started to up his schedule.

The solution? Mario Prime portrays the character Mario in main series titles and general promotional artwork. This is to adhear to the Perfect Mario template. However, Luigi Prime, using make up and hair dye, portrays the Mario Character in most Spin Off games where he isn't under as much scrutiny.

The Mario spin offs really started to take off in the mid to late 90s. Bigger Luigi needed time to prepare to take over the role permanently (Luigi's Mansion) and Luigi Prime needed time and experience to build himself in to the Mario character (which is why there's so many Mario Party games and remakes from 95-2001).

He never went away. He's been under your nose the entire time.

Bump

Tech limitations made Nintendo use a color swap of Mario for Luigi. It has been years since Nintendo was able to portray Luigi like he's supposed to look (similar to Mario but not a 1:1 copy with different colors).
Basically you are a faggot, OP.

Who really died that day, and who came back?
