Could have been one of my favorite movies without that ending. They should have made a cut without the faggy isekai twist.

The twist is fucking dumb and unnecessary but I would love a going into games machine like that. Imagine the porn the clerk would have to deal with.

I think people didnt get that the ending is a love letter to the fans,its something like "i love dragon quest even if people say its just a dumb game,i will aways love dragon quest"

Tons of people got mad about it, especially DQ5 fans. Fake Nimzo was handled poorly and they give the weapon spotlight to Erdrick's sword instead of the Zenithian Sword from DQ5. Had a shitton of blowout during it's cinema run.

I liked it, had an Eldritch Horror feel to it.
