For me, it were all those mobile Splinter Cells by Gameloft
THUG on the GBA. I remember emulating that before it came out on PC.
R6: Rogue Spear

actually pretty fucking good
Everything or Nothing
most of the cartridge memory was probably taken by this song

also fucking 007 Nightfire on gba

DOOM RPG was one of the GOATs.
I miss those James Bond games that were made like they were based on a movie with real actors and a proper credits song but there was actually no movie
worked better than the ones actually based on movies
The guys who made the gba/ds tony hawk ports are making the 1/2 remake. I'm pretty confident.
>R6: Rogue Spear
I forgot about that game. It was great
that wasn't a demake, it was a unique game with a unique story and environments. doom GBA was a demake.
my handheld was a dumb phone with java games. And by handheld I mean the "on the loo" gaming device. Anywhere else and it's just a sad cringe.
Some Neversoft devs are there, not sure who made the GBA game(s) though. I have high hopes for the remake, but THUG Pro still god tier
back then saying a game was like a movie was a good thing

played a resident evil mobile phone game once
we're talking like an actual mobile phone, not a smart phone
it was fucking awful
you played as female black leon, not even joking you had his outfit but a black head with long corn rows or something
you were some special agent though
you walked through rooms on a grid based thing and shot zombies
there also was a nemesis in his type 2 form that would roam randomly and follow you if you were in the same room
you had to explore rooms shoot zombies pick up items to open more doors
never did complete it but it was fucking weird lol
i'm not even sure if it was a legit licensed game
keep seething gayboy
No I mean vicarious visions is literally the studio that made the GBA/DS tony hawk games. And VV is one of the studios that's held on to most of it's founding staff.
Not seething, just stating the fact
Those gimmicky 3d demakes on the gba were interesting from a technical perspective but they all would have been better games if they had just stuck with a basic 2d top down perspective. splintercell not getting a classic metal gear style entry was a shame.
The GameBoy Color port of Resident Evil was pretty fucking kino. It plays like shit, its bugged like shit, it sounds like shit, but the idea of porting the og Resident evil into a GBC cartridge is still fucking magic to me. Too bad it didnt get fully finished and released
>That kino opening in the central asian mountains
>Absailing an exploding building
>Chasing a train
>Those open world driving sections
>The mine mission
>Freefalling to save a damsel in distress
>Riding a tank through red square
>Those hard as fuck co-op missions
>Probably a lot of other stuff I don't remember
Is there any reason why this shouldn't only just be a 10/10 game, but also a 10/10 bond game?
That's good news then. The people there seem dedicated and caring with the games they work on.
>Gameboy resident evil
Insanely cursed yet also insanely blessed port.
How the fuck was the GBA capable of this shit?

It's such a shame few devs pushed it that much.
Nobody's going to talk about this absolutely magnificent Metal Gear game, really?
The GBA had power on par with a fully chipped up SNES, but no one wanted to dedicate that much time to it because I don't think it really hit that the GBA was as big as it was until well after the fact.
I fucking love GBA, its just a mysterious piece of tech that could do very weird things.
Not really related to the thread but no one ever talks about this one.
>reading in public
Only pretentious faggots do this. "Oh look at me, I'm reading.", is what they think. But if you ever tried to read a book in public, you would know that it is but a chore. Magazines and articles are fine, but a book? Nah.
I agree, but I didn't draw this picture
Lol, I read on my phone and normal books. Its really easy to tune people out, stop being a sad faggot who cares what people think
If I'm reading a book and have an hour to kill in my daily schedule I'm going to read it, fuck off.
Does this still count as a videogame?
