I am
I know
It is pure kino, based ukraineposter
I did. It is.
I need a break. Wish Warfare didn't run like total shite.
I certainly will not
no, two years after its release it already got old and boring
the stalker modding scene is almost completely dead, we need a new coc-tier kind of supermod to keep it afloat, otherwise just wait for stalker 2
It''s good with a couple of mods. I've been playing it for some time and I love it, great atmosphere, gunplay is fun and rewarding, and I like the overall survival gameplay.
you're two years late.
why they made artifacts such a shitshow? every upgraded gear was better than any artifact, had no negative effects and didn't cause a radiation sickness if you equipped them
Who cares? I enjoy it.
I don't need to play only recent games to enjoy vidya.
Most recent games are garbage anyway.
Plus it still holds up pretty well with RTX on.
where to start with this series lads? loved the metro games and really keen to try stalker, but what mods etc should i start with for the maximum experience?
>two years late
Imagine playing with a shit ton of bugs. Like drugs stop working on switching to another zone. Sniffed that wonderful cocainum to get all the loot to the trader only to get cucked by some shitty coding. And no matter how many years will pass they won't be able to make radio not to turn off on zone change or loading.
Is it out of beta? I'm holding back.
1. Shadow of Chernobyl
2. Clear Sky
3. Call of Pripyat

The last Stalker mod I played was Misery. Looking back I don't know where I found the patience to finish that shit, but I remember the trick for making progress was making six gajillion trips to the water treatment plant and hoarding tons of loot, then after you have every gun worth having in the game, and all the best armor and anomaly protection, the rest is relatively easy.
The only mod you need is Complete.
that looks pretty good too.
will check out
Are there any mods that aren't just remixes of areas from the original games? How hard is it to model levels for the x-ray engine?
I wish they had quicker updates
Its stable, never had crashes on the newer version.
STALKER 2 when?
It's not.
Item bloat, empty as fuck world, broken ai, nothing to do except restart the game every 10 minutes so that you can return to hobo mode.
Stalker was a good game for it's time but it needs revamping with mechanics that don't push gameplay even further backwards. Also the layout of the maps sucks and gives you no reason to explore any of them.
does it add new maps
You know that you can tailor the experience to your liking right?
Only one
joint pak is better lol
they should make all new maps. there have been too many stalker mods where they don't know how to make maps and they just fuck up the graphics and weapons to make it more atmospheric or whatever. it's a waste of time playing the game again just for that
Does it have faction wars and territory changes ?
Yeah i too love it when modders insert Burnt Fuzz inside a ground texture
yes, quite bugged mode called warfare
>Complete
To my knowledge making maps in Stalker is hard, only russians have the patience to make them.
Only in Anomaly can you get a grenade, a can of beans, and a tetanus shot as a quest reward
I like it. Still fun after a good 12 or 18 hours, but as with all Stalkan it loses challenge if you play super conservatively.
Only real mechanical gripes I have are items that strip other items down into their components have far too little durability, and artifacts + containers don't seem worth the weight trade-off.
ok thanks for the answer
>every other stalker mod I've tried runs perfectly
>play anomaly
>get relatively frequent micro stutters that happen just often enough to be really annoying
>checked around and apparently other people get them too
nice mod
