I hate what PC gaming has become.
I hate what PC gaming has become
>all those launchers to play broken ports
lel
>broken ports
CSGO and LoL*
what you mean become? pc games have been shitty ports and shitty f2p games probably for longer than you've been alive
Whats even worse is that some games don't feature "crossplay" between two different stores.
I prefer this way, stop giving STEAM money and take to develop a fucking good game years.
They have zombified people defending their monopoly bullshit on PC.
All games comes crawling back to Steam sooner or later
Name 5 games.
But you only need steam and gog. Fucking hell, GOG is DRM free so there's literally no reason to buy a game available on gog unless you find it at a better price on steam
>Ebin
lmao
>Origin
EA hasn't produced anything worthwhile in a long time
>Battlenet
Same as ea. I play on a private server everytime I need to scratch the MMO itch
>Bethesda launcher
lmao
>Uplay
lmao
It's gotten to a point where I don't play games I'm interested in because obtaining them legitimately is too much of a hassle.
>denuvo
>origin/EGS exclusive
>requires secondary account like uplay or rockstar
Maybe they'll come to gog in a decade or so.
Epic LMAO?
Get it for the free games, princess
even then you still have to install ubisoft and rockstar's launchers
wouldn't be surprised if bethesda followed suit with future releases either since doom eternal already requires a bethesda.net account
>steam
has everything
>uplay
everything is on steam
>bethesda store
no games
>origin
no games
>gog
no games
>rockstar
no games
>battle net
no games
>epic store
is chinese spyware and has no games
PC has plenty of good games, cope harder consolefag
I've been playing pc games for years and never had any of those installed on my computer.
Out of all of the free games, the only ones which were worth taking were Diabotical, Kingdom Come, Subnautica and Metro 2033 (which has been given away so many times that everybody and their grandmother has it in their steam acc)
GOG no games? c'mon
You know that a lie you little friend. Maybe if you pick your hair when sucking Steam dick you will get a better view
why do PC bros hate competition? I swear they're like insecure manchildren.
I'm a pirate only. I'm thankful that GoG provides free games for me but I don't agree with their liberal agenda. They're not getting any $$$$ from me ever.
Because the competition behaves in awful ways. The only good competitor to steam was GoG (before they went leftist mode).
Now this is some next level faggotry.
Can you explain to me how is that? I didnt know they went bad
So you're sticking with f2p garbage, indie trash and 10 year old games?
>I AM SILLY
What liberal agenda?
They basically stopped selling their games on Steam and started selling them on their own pla
+
-tforms. Their own platforms are awful and lack features. Thankfully EA and Ubisoft bent the knee and put their games back on Steam.
Epic games is the worst example as they use their over whelming amount of cash from fortnite to pay developers not to use Steam. Additionally they remove Linux support from games they buy out. Furthermore because they give devs such a large check, it doesn't matter at all as to how successful the game is; the devs have already made everything back and more. This has lead to most epic exclusives being lazy and awful since the devs no longer have to put in the same work.
Gonna cry?
It's the truth though. Those who do mental gymnastics to justify pirating are insufferable faggots. Just do it like a normal person and pirate shit instead of bragging like an attention whore.
>before
Every game has its own shitty launcher and place to buy it
>then
Steam becomes a platform for launching and buying nearly all games
>now
Every company has its own shitty platform for launching and to buying their games
I mean it's annoying, but there's no actual opportunity cost other than the time it takes you to set up an account and the cost of electricity if you're a faggot. Exclusivity in consoles is you having to fork out a small chunk of change to buy a system that plays one or two games you desperately want to play.
Cyberpunk 2077
Not giving them a dime for futa simulator
that origin feature where you can play the game partially downloaded is pretty nice. steam should do this
>>requires secondary account like uplay or rockstar
They don't. Stop feeding gaben 30% of your every game purchase.
Not really. Everything was physical until steam showed up. The only inconvenience was that update days were a bitch since, a lot of the times, the only server was one website (Dota Allstars CS beta, etc)
I don't know, are you?
good
No nigger. Steam is great for end user because it's feature rich, big community and easy to use. I don't give a fuck about devs, what benefits the consumer the most is what wins and Steam is most consumer friendly platform.
Basing your purchase on what benefits the devs and not you the consumer shows how much of a fuck you are.
GOG and pirated games are also based because they flawlessly work offline.
There are games that have online coop on steam but not on Gog.
There was a CoD game, if I'm not mistaken, that if you bought on microsoft store you could only play with people other microsoft store players, later on microsoft refunded everyone the money for this.
The other 3 games, lurk more lol.
Why bother with free games on Epic and their shitty bloatware launcher when you can just pirate them instead?
So.... are you tell me that you dont like that you can choose you genitals watever you sex is?
I mean they are cyborgs they can choose dont have any or have a gun as a dick or laser pointer as clitoris.
I get you, but feels like just bitching
There's the fact that the platform will go the way of the EA download manager when it fails to naturally maintain a significant marketshare, something which will not be an issue for a company responsible for more than 1% of the total bandwidth usage on Earth and whose CEO's net worth is higher than the US president's.
No. I don't care if he profits off my insignificant purchases as it is convenient to me.
>Everything was physical until steam showed up.
And I was so in love with SecuROM, Gameguard, Gamespy, and Starforce.
20 years ago it would've been genuine if not a bit strange or perverse
Now it's just to push an (((agenda))). They want tranny money.
We still had launchers and shit back in the day. Gamespy, MSNzone and all that. Plus having to go to dev websites to get your own updates.
