Believe it or not this game is mostly aimed to kids between 12 and 16. To them GTAV might be their first game they get after graduating from Mario Kart and Pokemanz

It takes maybe one minute to get free games when they appear, but the reason I care about GTAV in particular is because it should hopefully work with mods better than the pirated version. Don't really care about the official MP mode but it's a nice bonus

I'm not going to play any GTAs from 4 onwards unless the modding scene can somehow undo the stupid distinction between the open world and the linear missions, which i expect is impossible. This problem was already bad at the surface level even in GTA 3 at times but now it's chronic and spliced with tedious busywork and dialogue/exposition that it is intolerable for someone who can easily find better movies and actual open world gameplay elsewhere. It's sad, because the world looks so lively and then you can't interact with it meaningfully/freely in the missions.

Meh, Rockstar games nowadays are just scams that try to get you hooked on their microtransaction filled multiplayer mode. Their single player modes are intentionally barebones in an attempt to push you to their more profitable mode. I really cannot in good faith recommend any of their newer games for this reason.
