It a relaunch of one of the first BR games that was released. It was pretty popular back then, then apparently the devs fucked it with updates, the game closed, they made a sequel, it was trash (look up The Culling 2 videos on YouTube, there's empty lobbies less than a week after launch), then they rebooted The Culling 1 in the state before the devs fucked it, they also fucked it up, the servers closed last year. Now, they're re-releasing it for the 45th time but with this absolutely braindead business model.
