I thought that was pretty cool, I'm wary of the legitimacy of their claims of it actually working, but if UE5 "just werks" like they're claiming, in a REAL full sized environment, It will mean games will never get any better looking, that'll be the cap since they're literally just importing models 1:1 from zbrush.

No, I expect gameplay when they say gameplay event with lots of gameplay featuring new games with gameplay and gameplay for announced games.
And we instead got cinematic trailers and like 1 minute out of the 27 minute conference of gameplay, and most of that 1 minute was snappily dressed cuts. There's literally 5.7 seconds of "gameplay" in the vtmb2 trailer, and 3 seconds of it is a mantling animation.

so the best thing about this was a remake, very nice
