This. PC gaming is a young man's game or for people who want the best of the best and I could care less. I'm a 32 year old boomer with an office job. Dont care to sit at my gaming pc after sitting all day on a computer to begin with. Plus I collect guitars and just spent 2k roughly on a nice vintage telecaster. Saving for a house at the end of the year. Really could care less about PC gaming but of course since I don't want to spend a few grand on a gaming station that makes me poor lol. It's called growing up.

But can it play Bloodborne? If a platform doesn't have a game I want to play its not worth it for me.

I used to be a proud console pleb in the 360 / ps3 days (never hated pc, just couldn't afford it), then I got one 3yrs into the xbones life cycle and then those consoles just went downhill, while PC stayed fun

I love playing multiplats on consoles, i still play stuff like Dark Souls or Mass Effect on my PS3 today, theres a certain authenticity about playing games the way they were released when they came out, sure 4K and 60fps feels nice but i still come back to my consoles, there’s just a certain charm with physical games and a big TV living room streamlined experience.

I avoid PC gaming and digital games and focus on building huge Playstation and Nintendo collections every generation.

sales are more frequient on pc's and they are also much higher % while on consoles even to be able to take advantage of the pathetic 5-10% sales you need an active ps plus/xbox gold subscription

consoles only working with their approved controllers while pc supports both xbox,playstation controllers so you are free to choose which you like if you prefer controllers

no extensive settings like pc games

not all of them and game pass games are different on PC and xbox usually has a better selection but i probably won't get an xbox next gen just because of that fact. even still, game pass wasn't a thing when xboners came out

If you aren't in already I'd say wait until the end of the year when the next generation of GPUs should be coming out. You can either get some nice cheap used cards from people upgrading or just get some great stuff that will last you years. We'll also know then expectations on what we'll need for parts on a good amount of 'next-generation' games for PC versions
