It entirely depends on how they manage the world map.
Story wise, it should end either at the northren cave, or aerith (maybe not) death. But that would require serious good optimization in the world map management.

Yes.
In the original game, you see multiple intances of real cloud talking to cloud. Before waking up in the church, that white flash when you meet reno and it says "you know him" like assuring what cloud is thinking, before putting the reactor 1 bomb *careful, this isnt just a reactor!*, when you are sleeping in junon, in the temple of the ancients, during the lifestream tifa and cloud scene.

He's talking to his true inner self, who doesn't come back until Tifa repairs his mind. The Cloud he is right now is a fake persona created from Zack's stories and Cloud's shame at not being able to make it into SOLDIER for Tifa.
The "I only got scraped knees back then." is a line True Cloud says to Tifa in his subconscious, referencing him and Tifa falling from Mt. Nibel's bridge, where he only suffered minor scrapes/scars but Tifa went into a 7 day coma. It's where Cloud started getting into fights out of his frustration with his own weakness and inability to save Tifa, hence why he latched onto the dream of joining SOLDIER to prove he is strong enough to protect her.

It's been awhile since I played ff7 but wasn't the whole thing with her and wutai was that she was pissed off they gave up fighting? If she caught on that shinra's angle was to start a new war she might hop on that bandwagon. But I still don't think she's kyrie. The only way that could be plausible is if she's a war orphan that the old granny slum angel picked up and gave her a different name because timeline shifts. But at that point she's basically a new character anyway.
