God this game is boring. How did the first doom get it right, but this game do so badly?

I dont see any issues with that, its a platforming mechanic. I'd rather the game be more platform/combat and less puzzle-explore, though, the climbing walls is excessive.

Normal, I forget the actual name. Yeah but you cant always have a situation where theres a mook enemy to use it on, if you're cornered by an arachnodemon, and theres no more fodder, all you can do is punch it.

Swinging on poles is actually pretty based and gives you a huge leap and paths to prioritize in a firefight if you need space or height Wallclimbing is trash though and only shows up between arenas. Would've been cool if they integrated them better and let you fire with one hand or something

>Fodder always spawns Yeah, in remote areas. if you're cornered you can't do shit thanks to the way colision is in this game, any heavy/fatty will block you and just keep shooting/meleeing you, theres no way TO escape and go after the fodder.
