How do we fix the Sims?

it's tickle torture
not too outlandish, but it's weird and niche enough that it doesn't get attention.

And yeah you can tickle sims sometimes, but I only like if if they're restrained and tickled to their breaking point.

Sims just needs difficulty again, I remember it being fucking difficult keeping up relationships to get job promotions and skills took way longer to level up.

I was miffed by that personally, cause the command is "tickle mercilessly" and it seems like the sims devs and I have very different definitions of "mercilessly".

Make Sims 2 with gud grafix.

I refuse to play this shit because most of the time you’re just just sitting there waiting for something to happen.

I love the Sims but there are some changes I'd make.

1) would be the ability to change sims in the library to occult sims and vice versa.
2) more occupations you can play. I'm a 1 or 2 sim at a time guy, I rather just follow them to work and school.
3) more $10 item packs less $40 expansions, I'll go further in saying weather, pets, jobs and clubs, schools should be standard in Sims 5, everything but the science fiction shit should be in the base game.
4) I rather they randomize the NPC sims for every play through

Their entire DLC model was a mistake, and I'm not just talking about them trying to milk money out of customers. The more modular bits you add to the game, the less likely all the pieces will play well together. Some parts of the game are barely functional on their own.

Exactly. Everything designed to be modular in ways that theres basically no interactions between packs like there was in previous titles, a lot of content is even completely locked to these single neighborhoods the DLCs add.
On top of this, they really just haven't fucking added much of anything. We got seasons and pets, the rest is 90% reused animations and object reskins or totally half-assed, busted new content thats full of missed potential and very limited when it shouldn't be.

God every time I'm in the mood for lifesims and I boot this fucking game up, I just get angry. But TS3 runs like fucking ass and looks like shit.

Try the console Sims games. They're kinda shit, but you do control your characters there.

Make it more like the sims 3 and not like some sex doll house simulator

Get rid of the fast forward button.
Makes getting anything way to easy so forcing you to play the game at a slower pace means whatever rewards you get have much more value.
The fast forward buttons are such a staple though I doubt it will happen.
