Because it aged like shit, i tried replaying it for the first time in a decade & it was incredibly boring, tedious & felt bland. When it was new it was scary, the atmosphere is gone now & it just comes across as a mediocre OOT expansion pass

I dislike all that shit except Bloodborne. Recently I've been enjoying Dirt Rally 2.0, MHW, Doom Eternal, UT 2k4 botmatches

I did not care for any of those games except Persona 5. My favorite genres of games are Metroidvania and MMO but MMOs are dead forever and never coming back so i just play old ones like Everquest on P99. I also like brawlers like Dragons Crown, Roguelikes and Roguelites I really like binding of issac. I also enjoy turn based RPGs of both the japanese and western variety although a few open world style RPGs are ok like Fallout New Vegas

for most of those I like games in that series/ by that developer but just not those games specifically.
Red dead 1 for example is one of my favorite games ever. 2 just felt lackluster since all the missions are the same GTA style whack a mole combat we've been getting forever just with a pretty coat of paint

The only good game in that list is Bloodborne, and even that one is pretty overrated.

I mostly like RTS, old RPGs and immersive sims.

after all those years and a shitzillion extra dollars since Rockstar games print money it feels the same. They built a really neat world with a lot of side activities but every single mission even the ones that have no business being combat oriented have you playing whack a mole again.
The mission where you use the hot air balloon to spy on the prison before breaking out John was good, that would have been a neat mission if midway through you weren't forced back into the tedious, ball numbingly easy combat. On top of that the whole Guarma section is utterly pointless filler.

Bloodborne is the only good PS4 game, and Sykrim is only passable at best on PC when modded.

That's the only game play structure Dan Houser knew. With him gone and the Max Payne 3 director having control of the studio now I'm expecting a lot of changes for future games. Only thing I'm hoping is that the production quality doesn't drop when they start trying different things. Dan had his own crunch culture and quality control that supposedly maybe getting cleaned up.
