underrail is barely an rpg, it's closer to fallout tactics

he played on normal first and we kept bullying him for it, so he finally did dom and acted like it was nothing, then he disappeared

Dom is pretty much nothing when you get past the beginning. Once you get used to the long ass fights and using everything at your disposal, the rest of the game is harder than hard but still manageable.

Depends what you like to do in RPG videgames, user. Almost everything is possible and viable in normal difficulty, it boils on what YOU want.
