The game has around 50 unique/rare blades that you get to fight along you, half of them you get through Core Crystal that give you blades at random, so it depends on what you define as gacha, but there is no real money involved.

It has a gacha blade summoning system using in game core crystals earned through gameplay, but by no means is it the "gacha game garbage" stereotype of Azur Lane and Arknights

It does have gacha mechanics but they're completely optional outside of the tutorial and shouldn't have much trouble beating the game without using it. The gacha itself is also ridiculously lenient unless you're going for 100%.

If you're going by 100% you will get more cores than you need, I think it was mentioned in some interview, I went for 100% before going to NG+ and had a surplus of around 30 legendary core crystals.
