What is the point of getting a gaming PC if most games come out for consoles, with many being exclusive on the consoles

>in b4 Strategy games
Its a dead genre.
>in b4 legacy library
its ancient.

truthbomb: most games that run on console actually run as well on PC
if you want exclusives so bad just get a Switch too.

>in b4 legacy library
>its ancient.
Dumb zoomie.

but there's a switch emulator on pc...

There's no point to getting console. Especially when Snoy is pushing for gay LGBT shit like TLOU2. Xbox hasn't done this yet, but they will eventually. They're all pozzed.

PC is always the way to go.

emulation
flawlessly play the thousands of better classics that came from previous generations before gaming was turned to shit
and then flawlessly emulate all of the modern classics on youtube, be sure to disable commentary for a solidly immersive experience
everything else is just shit you've already seen a hundred times already just at a slightly better resolution
and if graphics made video games, then the cinema is the place to be

There's no point on getting a PC, consoles are just cheaper and price is what matters the most.

>Xbox hasn't done this yet, but they will eventually.
They are literally funding a tranny game.

>most games that run on console actually run as well on PC
except the plethora of console exclusives. exclusive the PC got in the last 5 years? indie shit doesn't count.

its because of people like you who will cause the next recession. if you aren't buying stuff you're literally killing the economy. money need to flow.

On PC all you have are shitty ports of those pozzed console games, and terrible indie games no one cares, all with assraping DRM.

But I buy old games.

Today I learned that me saving money for food, electricity, savings, and other more valuable things that will actually have an impact on my daily life is fucking pointless if I don't stimulate the economy. Cool

>food, electricity,
if you're so poor that you have to choose between vidya and food/electricity then you have a problem.
>savings
yes. people saving money rather than buying or investing is slowing down the economy. idle capital is the worst thing for an economy especially after the corona slowdown.

There is no point unless you want the best performance and youre not always guaranteed that. PC lacks the convenience of consoles, requires more know-how, and is a larger investment. Also devs (that matter) do not give a shit about the PC platform, so once you filter out indie pixel shit youre left with subpar ports, with some coming out a year or 2 after the console release. Basically, PC gaming is a huge meme in current year.

Nice reddit meme, you waste of fucking oxygen.

And what if this corona shit starts up all over again? We'll all either be back to square one like we were before or worse off because we didn't prepare. Ya always gotta have an emergency fund. But, you're right, it would be really bad if I had to worry about food and electricity over vidya

I support next recession to spite people like you

havent touched my ps4 a lot since owning it..................

>you want the best performance and youre not always guaranteed that
thats an understatement. there are so many bad ports since PC is third in the priority list after Playstation and Xbox.

>Mods
>More customization options
>More games
>Never gets replaced by a newer version, just upgrade your hardware occasionally
>Emulators
>Does many useful things other than gaming
Why would you NOT play on PC?

The PC sequel came out in 1984.

>More games
nah, as I already said what exclusive the PC got in the last 5 years? indie shit doesn't count.
>>Emulators
oh yeah? wheres thats Xbox one x emulator?

Running games on High and Ultra for starters.. freesync/gsync

Modding has saved many otherwise shitty games for me

You get a pc/ps5/ switch so you can play all the games.

I play my PS4 daily

I don't care about Xbox/Sony exclusives though.

I got a PC so I could play the games that would end up being multi plat regardless at the highest quality I could.

>Where's the emulator for the console that's not out yet
kill yourself.

anyway the idea of emulation isn't limited to the newest shit

and then you get an Arkham city which runs at single digit FPS despite having $5000 computer

Consoles are objectively better if you're interested in playing new games from the best creative heads in the business. Any and every new game of value over the past 8 years, even the past 10 years for that matter has come out on console.

Sure, if you want to play indie shitters, PC is for you, but even those are on console store there days.,

I didn't buy it.

>if you aren't buying stuff you're literally killing the economy. money need to flow.
I have no stocks and I must CONNNNNNNSUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMME

Hypothetically speaking, what would need to take place in order for "PC 2" to exist as an actual thing? Would Microsoft have to come up with a reference design for a new generation of PCs that does things no other PCs can?

>>Where's the emulator for the console that's not out yet
nigger Xbox one x was released in 2017

My bad, I got the One X and Series X mixed up like a retard.

do you not have a PC?

Total War: Warhammer II. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.

>Hypothetically speaking, what would need to take place in order for "PC 2" to exist as an actual thing?
Probably a completely new architecture instead of expanding the ancient x86 one.

you'd have to be legitimately retarded to spend $5k on PC parts and not get 1080/60 out of even an APU setup.

wow, 2 PC exclusives, and one of them is early access shit. meanwhile:

gematsu.com/exclusives/ps4

the point was that console to PC ports are shitty unoptimized crap running far worse than consoles. Arkham city wasn't a hardware issue it was a dev which didnt give a fuck about the PC port.

A shit ton of those were either remastered or shit.

Ignoring those, how many of them were AAA non-movie games? Indieshit doesn't count. See, I can move goalposts too faggot. kys

Horsecock mods
Slightly better performance
Cheaters ruining mp games
And all that for a cheap 5x cost!
