Sometimes I hate Nintendo's attitude towards innovation. Every game/console is always a coin-flip because they always have to introduce some wacky new idea or mechanic that sometimes sticks and sometimes flops. It's nice to see new things every once in a while, but in the case of Paper Mario, I'm pretty sure most people don't WANT new things and would rather just see something closer to TTYD since they know that TTYD was good.

i hate the stickerstar so fucking much that i'd rather them do another slate wipe like with super and do something else again. i fucking DESPISE the shitty combat styling with all my heart but for some fucking reason they are adamant towards keeping it. i can still see the spaces for more stupid stickers/origami shits in the attack menu. i don't think they even have proper XP in this one since the goombas are just dropping coins and mario has no clear level.
i fucking hate it. i'd rather this be something different entirely with no connection to paper mario at all and the paper mario series proper just fucking died off instead of this shit
