>make gaming my only hobby >pirate every game >refuse to ever spend money on games >refuse to pick up new hobbies >games start to appeal to other demographics instead of me >wtf these entitled greedy developers... don't they know they should be loyal to TRUE fans like me? >developers drop features and characters I like >developers add features and characters I don't like, to appeal to new fanbases >more SJW shit
now you can pirate their games and feel even better for cucking them out of 60+ shekels

So I just won a surface pro, and I want to do a youtube review on it. What are some good gags to make it more funny?

The Birth of a Nation was a box office hit. Yet for some reason Hollywood refused to cater to an obviously large market by making more movies for such an audience.
What are you talking about? Hollywood literally gave the filmmaker and even bigger budget to make a follow-up movie, which was a FLOP because it was just incel-tier whining.
It was basically the TORtanic of early 1900s American filmmaking
>What are you talking about? Hollywood literally gave the filmmaker and even bigger budget to make a follow-up movie
You are talking about two thematically different movies. Just because they are directed by the same person, doesn't mean it is going to appeal to the same audience. If I liked Kevin Smith's Clerks, that doesn't mean that Yoga Hosers is going to appeal to me.
Your claim is that "for some reason Hollywood refused to cater to an obviously large market" and your claim is wrong on both fronts.
1. The production company gave Griffith 4x the budget to make whatever follow-up he wanted (it turned out to be a career-ending FLOP)
2. Civil War/South films continued to come out every year for decades. We just don't remember them because they sucked. No one knew how to tell a story except Griffith, he was the only writer/director with any experience doing feature length character-driven stories.
Gaming isn't a hobby. Making games would me a hobby. Gaming has been casualized for normies and adults since Playstation launched probably before you were born. Nobody hijacked your intetest.

Wrong and gay SJWs are too busy shitposting and policing on twitter and tumblr before that or hanging themselves than play videogames. Why do you think every SJW game failed hard.
Adam Ross
Pirate those games too to teach them a lesson. Get your smug face ready now for when they come crawling back.
>Gaming isn't a hobby >what do you do in your free time >i play games I mean yeah being a gamer is a job but playing games is a hobby no different from fishing for fun

1. Repeating the same point twice doesn't make you any less wrong. 2. Sure, Hollywood made plenty of films about the civil war, the south and racial conflict. But the underlying political messaging of those films were overwhelmingly at the other end of the spectrum. They appealed to people with completely different political sympathies.

It's like saying watching tv is a hobby. Cmon man

>Let's discuss movies made before our great grand patents were alive on Zig Forums
Films weren't political before Birth of a Nation, retard. It was literally the first feature film with politics injected into it. You have no idea what you're talking about. It set the standards for decades.
Birth of a Nation was widely denounced in the press, but was the highest grossing film in cinema for years. Intolerance had an enthusiastic reception from film critics, but a box office disappointment. Different audience, different reception.

It kind of just proves that the union should have done to the south what we did to japan.

user positions it like Hollywood knew what they were doing.
Birth of a Nation was many firsts: >first feature-length film >first film where the director was given full creative autonomy >first film to adapt a novel and do it justice >first film to inject culture war politics into the medium
Hollywood knew they had a hit, but they couldn't what exactly made BoaN a hit. They gave Griffith more money, in case it was just his genius. Apparently it wasn't. Then they kept adapting popular and/or controversial Civil War books. Those proved more successful.
There aren't a lot of other films with BoaN's perspective because it's not easy to make the American South sympathetic in that conflict.
Thousands have tried, and there's only really one story structure that successfully paints the South as sympathetic: The Clansman. Which was adapted into BoaN. Which started the political culture war in American cinema.
If there were other novels that told a compelling story that apologies for the Confederacy and slavery, they would have been adapted, too. But to be honest about it, The Clansman/Birth of a Nation is more of a hyper-compelling anomaly. A brilliant fluke.
It should be easy to prove me wrong on this, if you could reference other popular novels that feature sympathetic southern confederates. But you can't, there's only one big one.
There were like 10 other adaptations of Dixon's works (author of the Clansman, which was adapted into Birth of a Nation), most of them flopped.

And there it is.

I don't understand how piratefags expect to continue to get pandered to for decades when they explicitly antagonize the industry.
What is the logic? Are you just commies?
Isaac Thompson
shut the FUCK up. I've literally bought every anti-SJW game. I have Kingdom Come Deliverance on my steam library, even though I never finished that shit. You are literally ruining games by pirating. You're giving the SJWs the edge in this WAR.
Ayden Cox
Fuck off, paypig. Deep down inside you know you're doing nothing to help

Directed by Thomas Dixon Jr himself, the first of only two films he directed, made independently with his own studio he set up from the profit he made off of the first film. He obviously didn't have the same directing talent as D. W. Griffith.
Sebastian Russell
>made independently with his own studio he set up from the profit he made off of the first film
You say this like it was a bad thing. There was not a modern studio system pumping out feature-length films. There was only one studio doing this, and they dumped all of the profits into Griffith's next film. Dixon effectively created the second feature film production studio, and it made several films with pro-confederate points of view. They mostly flopped because they were mostly bad. He BECAME Hollywood and quickly failed, despite his initial success.
You act like there was this wellspring of demand for Klan movies, yet of the 10-20 that were produced, only the first one was a major hit.
There's very few story structures that let us see the human vulnerability in overtly harmful ideologies. It's hard to make bad guys sympathetic when they're legitimately bad guys. Every once in a while you get a masterpiece like BoaN or a modern equivalent like Joker. But 99% of the time, if your film is about a shit PoV, it's going to suffer from shit characters and a shit story.
