Fallout 76 Free Weekend

Honestly, the freemium aspects of the game aren’t even that bad. There’s no p2w, it’s just paying for cosmetics really.
Private servers are the only arguably scummy aspect of the game.

I've played the game for 230 hours and still going strong.
Fuck the contrarians hating on it. If you've enjoyed Bethesda's past games like FO3, Oblivion, Skyrim or FO4, hating on 76 is hypocritical since it's like 4 but better AND with online play which enhances the experience tenfold.

You get around 500 atoms each week by doing dailies and weekly quests and most cosmetics / bundles cost 500-1500
Simply playing the game allows you to unlock anything you want from the shop, no need to pay a dime.
Also, bethesda client has SEPARATE atom count, meaning you can do all the atom progress in Beth client and earn the same points again in steam, so you get double the atoms, everything else persist from client to client.

You could not pay me to get involved with that dumpster fire, OP. A free like of shit is still a pile of shit.

Give a valid reason why the game should have an infinite inventory? The game has trading and economy, having limitless space would break everything. Does World of Warcraft have infinite inventory space? Does Guild wars or Diablo have infinite inventory space? Name a fucking RPG that has infinite inventory space and we'll evaluate whether it's good for the game or not.

I've started playing recently and it's definitely better than Fallout 4 by a lot.

My only complaints are the AI is buggy and the instanced 'quest' buildings. For how much work they put into the dialog and NPCs, it's a shame they didn't let you talk to them with your party members.

after all the shit that happened with fallout76 they can go fuck themselves. There is no redemption arc here. Only dumb af conSOOMers.

They added human NPC's in massive patch a month ago, main questline was overhauled, you have two major factions to choose from and your rewards change accordingly, branching choices and dialogue checks, more late game incentive with super strong gear available etc.

Imagine punching somebody so hard that they turned into a door. Then you found out that’s where ALL doors come from, and you got initiated into a murder club that makes doors. The stronger you punch, the better the door. So there are like super strong murderers who punch people into Venetian doors and shit.

if you got fallout 1st you also get a scrapbox with infinite space for junk

now aint that some stupid shit you are spewing, nothing wrong with infinite inventory in PvE game that is MMO-lite to the point it barely classifies as one considering you got 24 players in one world tops.
without scrapbox my stash would be maxed out all the time, now its just over 500 pounds filled.

it sorta is drop-in/drop-out shooter since you dont have to commit yourself to a full match like you would in your average multiplayer fps
just do some quests, build bases, fuck about with mates, whatever.
