Where the fuck were you when they ruined Overwatch?

I understand the need for SOME kind of nerf but goddamn, her shield bash got the hardest nerf in the history of the game. It does essentially zero damage, and now her shield is weaker (and smaller) to the point it doesn't even protect her let alone anyone else.
On top of that her "buff" was so mathematically insignificant the extra healing gained wouldn't even save you from a single melee hit.

Wasn't much a Brig player. But nerfing healers is a huge pattern in OW. She needed something of one but she is so easy to beat after. Ana when she was released was really the only support that really needed a hard nerf, and it took god damn year for it.

Ana being OP was really just a side to what was really the issue and is still the issue. Tanks are fat dps. They hit hard, they have movement abilities, and any attempt to counter them just leads to something murdering more healers. Doomfist is a good example of this. He was made to counter tanks by jumping in, punching the shit out of them, and then jumping away again. Reaper was suppose to work the same way. But what always works better is jumping in, hitting the far squishier healer, and zooming away.

Brig was OP for being a healer that wasn't easy prey.

Tanks dominating the game is part of the larger issue of its slow speed. With only one point to cap or objective at a time the spawn and walk time back to it have to be long. So the penalty for wiping out on a point is harsh due to map design and slow speed. So anything with the ability to survive long is going to dominate.

The game had potential and I love the art design, but it was flawed from the start by stealing WoW class structure, Moba Ults, and Battlefront capture points without knowing why those things worked, ie structured levels, designed map with choices, and large battles you can't protect every point in.

And then Blizzard instead of trying to make the game good, pumped money behind forcing an esport scene. I will never get how anyone gives two shits about this. I played a lot of the game and I never went a week without being shoved through a wall, dropping a Mei ult into the floor, being sucked side ways a level away into a Rein charge that was miles away, or getting hung up on floor geometry or some other buggy ass shit.

because Jeff krapland doesn't give a shit about balance, they literally changed the way the game works so data scrapers couldn't generate their own data to prove them wrong because they got sick of it happening on the forums.

The simple fact is they gave Bridgette way too much shit, and they did the same for the healing nigga with the grenade launcher.

They don't understand balance, or what the game needs, and when anybody gave them solid advice they would say "no it's THE PLAYERS THAT ARE WRONG NOT I I AM A PERFECT DESIGNER MANDATED BY GOD"

The game is dead because they don't know what the fuck they're doing. Bridgette is an extension of that since, at her core, she was meant to be a counter to broken heroes liek Tracer, and when you do that, those heroes become busted, because guess what, you need to nerf the broken heroes first before you introduce hard counters like that otherwise the counters are too op. They never learned the lesson presented with season fucking zero mccree.

They REALLY want healers to just be healers with a huge downplay on any other element. Like yeah, Brigitte was supposed to be able to follow tanks and handle the up close speedier units that could zip around tanks to attack the healer. But then Tracer mains sperged out and now you got a slow "tank" healer with very limited range, lower damage and possibly the worst healing in the game.
Moira's up next on the chopping block. Should be amusing to see her get a 0.005% healing buff while her damage abilities are decimated.

Genji nerf, then mccree got fucked because 50 characters with shields, final nail in the coffin was hanzo losing scatter arrow. Fuck that. I hated the left wing trannies that played the game from launch to judgment day. Fuck overwatch.

The mechanics themselves will drive you nuts too. Anything OP gets this weird arrogance and just runs in like a jackasss all the time and then yells at the support like they can heal through 3 walls and half a stage away. I'm convinced Rein just has a suicide button, in some 450+ levels I could count the successful charges I've seen without the need of all my fingers. That shit is always over a cliff, into the enemy pack with no plan or allies. Like 3 Genji's on planet earth no what a health pack is.

I don't know I would almost say they don't want healers to be healers with what they did to Mercy. She was the only true healer while the rest are supports. And as a result had a high pick rate even when she had a lot of weaknesses so they straight up ruined her most fun aspect. Thought its true they'll nerf anyone to make Tracer and Genji's happy, heaven forbid they need to think.

I still to this day think they should have made Mercy's passive Ult charge up much slower, gotten rid of her damage boost, and made her tanky enough to get into the fray with some pistol action. That way no more hiding in the corner to Ult after a wipe, no more living up Phara's skirt, no more dieing in two hits, and a reason to balance fighting with heal beaming to give some variety. But instead they kill her game changing ability into what I like to call Sniper's Delight mode because the minute she is off the ground she is such a target.

Can definitely see Moira being next, people bitch about her constantly. Either on the team not understanding she had to do damage and heal to not run out of juice or from enemies who sit on her orb instead of running past it.
