The biggest lie about adderall is that it doesn't work for people without adhd. We can't admit it because the entire premise for using it as a prescription for adhd rests on this assumption, but everyone knows.
Plus the fact that anyone can get a prescription for it if they ask. It should either be totally legal or universally banned, preferably the latter

It's performance-enhancing, but I don't consider it cheating because it doesn't raise a player's skill peak, it just helps keep him at/close to peak longer and more consistently. Unlike steroids in physical sports, you're not playing against a guy who is faster/stronger than you can ever be natty, you're just playing against a guy with extremely good focus. It's more similar to the energy drinks every e-sports player chugs daily.

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that the prescription system is 90% a scam. They make you get prescriptions for the most harmless shit while stuff that can easily kill you is sold over-the-counter for 10 cents a pound.
