Well, garbage by what metric. Pokemon in 2020 is objectively awful but it still gets the nostalgia points to offset the trash factor.

Most Switch things are timed exclusives. I'm pretty ok with that.

And it will continue to not be good because they've realized their consumers can be bought with generic waifus and shoveling Pikachu, Eevee, and Charizard into everything.

I thought that too for a while but after 20 years of trying my hardest to forgive their bad design choices even I can't deal anymore. For what it's worth though it's not a huge loss...there are other games out there.

I liked this game, bros. The town was comfy. I'd like a sequel with actual dungeon crawling and better combat, though.

The only Switch exclusive I care about making it to nornal platforms (PC) is MUA3. It's not that it's absolutely awful, but hiccups are frequent and fuck exp cubes. Plus I'd give Elsa's default costume an iconic tummy window.

To be honest, the competitive side of it - online, not the single player - involves strategy and you can't brute force your way trough. The base game is lacking too
