I've played every single Persona game, but I never finished any of them, I always marathon them through the first half, then start burning out in the second half, usually switching to a different game a month or two before the ending.

That's right where I quit actually, I was gonna go explore memento mori (Is that what it's called? The subway) for a bit, and then I don't even remember what it was but another game came out and I went to paly that and I never came back and even thinking about going back it's always the same story, I don't wanna re-learn all the weaknesess and types and shit so I just move on, and buy the next game in the series like a sucker every time.

The next palace is very poorly written and paced. However the game picks back up again afterwards. Maybe not to the same heights as the first few palaces, but it gets good again, especially if you have Royal and unlocked the 3rd semester.
I want to go back to P3 and actually finish it. The social aspect and lack of party controls turn me off though. Mostly the social aspect. It was a pain in the ass to get every arcana maxed out in P4 but P3 just looks impossible. That and how easy it is for arcanas to regress, especially with women, makes me anxious.
P3P is out of the question because of the vastly downgraded presentation.

I haven't played persona 1-2 nor any SMT game because Kaneko's art is fucking disgusting and having to see that shit for 100+ hours is like torture.
I wrote my own Persona game featuring my social circle. It's cringe as fuck but it's pretty well written and everything links together. Personas are based on obscure literary characters that'll make you go "Oh yeah, I know that story". Also my designs beat the shit out of Atlus', but no one will ever see them.
I downloaded FFVII for PS3 a few years ago and really enjoyed it up until I unlocked Vincent; my game is 100% up to that point and then I learned about how the game calculates your character stats and it turns out if you want perfect stats you have to closely monitor the random allocations every single level up to ensure your team doesn't end up sub-par.
I haven't been able to find the willpower to play it again.

I don't actually care about Zig Forums's opinion on anything, I pretty much just play what I want.
I think Mario Sunshine is the actual best 3D mario- it is for me anyway. What it might lack in level design it makes up for 10 fold in movement. I still just fuck around with the parkour in various levels to this day. Also I think Luigi's Mansion 1 is the best in the series and the later games completely lost the feel of the original.

Part of me thinks the 5th palace was shit overall on purpose. There's way too many factors that make it shit all coming together at the same time, which all stop being factors once shit really goes south and the Casino arc starts.

Emulate FES with the party control mod. Also don't bother maxing all SLs in first playthrough, following a guide on first playthrough isn't fun.
