NVIDIA comes out with an unnecessarily overpowered GPU, so what?

I don’t understand how anyone can get excited about pc hardware launches when they don’t do jackshit for game graphics. We saw the UE5 demo because next gen is about to start. What do nvidia’s cards do? Nothing. Absolutely no changes or jumps in game graphics.

Are you retarded? You can increase graphical settings, resolutions, the frame rate, and use graphics mods like Reshade which can force ray tracing global illumination into almost any game. How does new PC hardware not improve graphics?

Without a good SSD, is any of that even practical? I'm certain it's not. If you are going to get the most out of your graphics, you have to have a good SSD (which the PS5 will have). It will be able to maximize it's graphical fidelity while this graphics card will never meet its potential if you are using HDD.

PS5 isn't a toy, it's a multimedia/gaming console. It's for people who love media as a whole, but primarily video games. Your PC is only not classified as a toy because it runs spreadsheets. If the PS5 ran spreadsheets and shit, you'd probably choose it over PC any day of the week.

There hasn't been a game yet to reach this level because the consoles they came out on couldn't make it happen. It's tough to do that running on HDDs with the given CPUs they had. With PS5, they will be able to actually achieve this level of visuals early on AND even better with UE5. Also, you can't watch this and believe for a second the Ampere shit is leaps and bounds better than this is. It's not. Since that's the case, why bother spending up to a thousand dollars on a graphics card like that when you can actually buy a PS5 and get the most out of your games?

They are on par with each other to the point where you can't tell the difference, really. PC can already have those graphics and you can perfectly replicate them using even the current version of unreal and running pretty well in a 2070, also don't forget that unreal 5 editor is only available for pc so of course we are going to be able to run the demo at some point.
