Metal Gear Solid is the be all end all full package Metal Gear. Every other game since focuses on some heavy handed meta-narrative or is total fanservice or kojimbo deep up his own asshole. They're all great games but MGS1 is the GOAT and is in a league of its own.

4 is legit kino but thats the problem, its a kino not a game.
